   This restaurant is a joke. LOL See the watery soup they called bitterleaf soup. Didn’t come with any swallow, I had to make my own swallow. I paid for this soup for £15. Never again! To worsen it, the phone number doesn’t work.

   SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND YOUR PEACE OF MIND AND DON'T BOTHER COMING HERE! This is the worst Nigerian restaurant I have ever been to in my existence! The food was absolutely TERRIBLE. My friend and I went in to order rice and ayamese stew/designer stew and it was disgusting. Not only was the quantity not worth the price, the rice was literally swimming in oil like soup (see pictures), the meat was difficult to chew and the flavour tasted completely off. To top this off, whilst my friend and I were eating and talking WE WERE THEN SHOUTED AT by the owner and her worker to bring our voices down BECAUSE SHE WAS ON THE PHONE???????????Firstly, I honestly think the sanitation of the place should be investigated because the owner had her legs outstretched on the chair with her feet exposed. Secondly, we WERE NOT LOUD! We are big big women coming from work and PAYING CUSTOMERS using your services and you are shouting at us to keep it down??? Could you not have gone to the back of your own shop?? What kind of nonsense is this??? If you went to Mcdonalds will they shout at you to keep your voice down?! Who the heck even does that? And for anyone who has been to a common roadside chop bar in Nigeria or Ghana or even a Chinese restaurant in UK, would the owner and workers SHOUT AT YOU to keep your voice down whilst eating???? Heck no! I guarantee that if we were white people eating at Ariya Kitchen they wouldn't even dare do this! After experiencing this, my friend and I just got up and left because how can go around shouting at customers, when the situation did not warrant such behaviour. To make matters worse, when I got home, my stomach started hurting and had to VOMIT EVERYTHING OUT!! I wish I could put MINUS ONE OUT OF 5 because this was absolutely the worst customer experience combined with the worst food I have tasted in my life. Please, I beg, SAVE YOUR MONEY because this place is not worth it.

   Really disappointed with my food spent 30 pounds the only thing that was edible was the jollof and tiny pieces of meat that came with it apart from that the okro was sold frozen so not sure how long it's been frozen meat was tough like a brick the mix meat stew was just as bad all the meats were tough I dont get how they sell food that's not edible definitely wont be getting food from this place again

   Ariya Kitchen is a nice place, very close to the train station so it was easy to locate. The food took a while before we received it as they took forever to get it warmed up but the taste was okay. The staff was a bit slow and the place was too noisy and being so small, lots of people kept coming in and everyone was talking at the same time like a market square and I honestly was too hungry so was hoping for a calm place to enjoy my meal uninterrupted. I will suggest they need more professional staffing and they need to make the food tastier but generally, it wasn't too bad.

   Tried some jollof rice and fish. Was charged £9 for a box of jollof rice and fish. This was £2-£3 over the price on the menu. Both tasted very smoky and strange and one did not feel well afterwards. Feel totally ripped of. Not sure how one can charge £9 for some coloured rice and one piece of fish. Very disappointed. Daylight robbery..
