Unfortunately place has gone down hill I ordered a beef patty and half was very hard. Also brought a large jerk chicken meal it didn’t come with no side vegetables or coleslaw like other carribean places and chicken was just ok. Also chicken soup this used to be nice but of late they put too much pepper in it making it not enjoyable it’s a shame as they local to me but after so many fails I need to go further out for good carribean food

Really disappointed with the service I received through Uber Eats. I ordered two peppered prawn meals but received the side portions instead — only five prawns per container. I know this was wrong because I ordered the same meal two days earlier and received the proper main portion (10–12 prawns in a larger container). I’ve also ordered the side dish in the past, and what arrived this time was exactly that smaller side portion, not the main meal I paid for. Four of us had to share just ten prawns from two “meals.” To be fair, Uber Eats refused my refund, which isn’t the restaurant’s direct fault, but it’s still frustrating. The food here can be great, but portion sizes are really inconsistent. For example, I once paid £4.99 for plantain and got just four small slices. Unfortunately, even though the food tastes good, I can’t rely on what I’ll receive when ordering for delivery — I’d only order again if I could go in person and see the portion sizes myself. (The pictures below show the small side portions I received — these are not main meals.)

The chicken was so so old and disgusting I didn’t eat it, and I eat virtually anything. It has actually upset me how rank it is. Clearly just refried from yesterday or day before. The oxtail was pure bones with no meat at all but a slight scraps in the sauce. Tasted nice enough but I bought a large and I got nothing. Edit - I was violently sick that evening

Bought jerk chicken - received old chicken that doesn’t look fresh, taste fresh and smells unusual. Also bought cornmeal porridge. Smelt like it had stale out of date milk inside it. Festival tasted like it had been on top of jerk chicken. Had to throw away all of it. Won’t be returning here.

My first experience of Jamaican food. I always wanted to try jerk chicken at carnival but I end up too merry! This is the next best thing. Absolutely delicious :)

Great service. Prompt delivery. However, don’t think raising the price of the Guinness punch from £4 to £6.99 is a good idea. The large curry goat meal (£10), is smaller than when it was £9. Not impressed.

We were very pleased with our order. Didn't take long to prepare when I collected it. Good sized portions and all the meals were delicious. We bought the rum cake and it was one of the best I have tried, moist, full of flavour and a strong rum cake. First I thought the prices were expensive compared to other places but when I tasted the food - it was definitely worth the money.
