We visited Chimβs on Friday night and had the best experience! Honestly the best Thai food we have had since spending 2 months in Thailand 2 years ago (we havenβt managed to find any good quality authentic Thai restaurants around until now!!). Iβd even go so far as to say the best meal out weβve had all year! The service was great, very friendly staff. Price was so reasonable for the quality too. My cocktail and Singha beer were both amazing and the restaurant was fully booked that evening so had a great buzzy vibe. We will definitely be returning regularly.

As a well travelled foodie, I agree the taste of the dishes is authentic Thai. The dΓ©cor and ambience is modern and cosy. The service is fast and polite. The reason I gave three star for food is mainly because the dishes we chose seemed to be slightly on the salty side. But again, that could be down to the chef on the night : )

The food here is always amazing. I have never had a bad dish. My favourite dishes are the Mango Flower Dumplings, Chicken Massaman and the Pad See Ew (which is one of their specials). The staff are very friendly and accommodating too. I would definitely recommend booking in advance because it gets very busy due to its popularity!

This is my go to place, you need to book as its always busy no matter the day or time. The food is delicious, it's not the cheapest, but it's worth it. It's a small restaurant, which makes it cosy and intimate. I've been with family, with friends and date night and it's just great.

I'm finding it hard to really rate this place. Sorry Chim's. Like the other reviewers mention, portions are VERY small and it's expensive. Eg 4 small dumplings for Β£8 and a tiny mango salad for Β£8. The pictures taken make the food portions look big which is deceiving. Flavours were lovely however. We cant fault that. Curries were nice but again very small with tiny iddy bits of cut meat. The roti was very oily and artificial tasting and appeared to be the frozen shop bought type. Anyone who has had homemade asian style breads can see that from a mile off, my husband ate it anyway as he was very hungry. Due to it being a small restaurant the tables are all seated very close to one another and it gets very loud and hot. If you want great value for money with nice surroundings/settings this isnt for you!

Brilliant little place in Cheam village. The food is fantastic and they deliver great service. The menu has small plate options of mostly street food inspired dishes and big plates of more substantial dishes. Itβs great value for money and we will definitely be back

Went here on a Thursday night with no reservation just as the restaurant opened and managed to get a table for two. Service- family owned business with the friendliest staff ever. Helpful with what you should pick if youβre ever unsure and accommodating to your needs. Food- As the Gen Z say, it slapped! Flavourful with every bite, definitely recommend the Hinlay Curry and Duck Tacos. I really love the small plates concept and just how affordable the establishment is. Atmosphere- From start to finish I was impressed, the restaurant has an intimate feel to it. The design and layout is aesthetically pleasing to the eye with no detail missed. The playlist of choice for the evening was perfection. Thank you Chimβs for a spectacular dining experience.

We had an amazing time here. The service was great, the food took a little longer than expected but was certainly worth it. We came here before they changed owners and name, the new lighter and more open layout is more casual but still a great place for a dinner with family to drinks with friends. When we first got there it was a little noisy with people chatting but it soon quietened down. If you are vegan vegetarian there is less on the menu for you but what is there is extremely tasty. The fried tofu and mango flower dumplings were especially delightful.
