   Lovely stay at formby golf resort and had a lovely breakfast and dinner at the grill restaurant. Potato and garlic soup was lovely, and the butternut squash gnocchi (+chicken) was amazing and the grilled chicken fillet was gorgeous too! Lovely quiet location with views of the golf course

   Was served today by Mick and Tom. Tom was amazing. Took us outside for photos infront of the golf green, so much time and such a pleasant man. Mick took our desert order and chatted to us. Tried to guess our deserts! Gorgeous woman! 10/10 for food, cleanliness and staff. Will 100000% be back.

   Came here for my 30th birthday as we were staying in the hotel. Food was excellent - Sticky Toffee Pudding was the best I’ve ever had! But the real star was out waiter Liam! He couldn’t have done any more for us if he tried, great asset to the team! Can’t wait to return! :)

   Food OK for price. Breakfast is a little tragic... Given the standard of their dinners I'm surprised they don't offer breakfast cooked to order. Instead it's powdered scrambled eggs... Bar staff are inexperienced. Service is much better at Sparrowhawk pub round the corner (grub is as good as and half the price!)

   The food was fine. We came in on bank holiday Monday for a friends birthday celebration. We were 7 adults and two kids. The service was shockingly slow. We had to constantly chase someone for something. They forgot our friends drinks for the entire meal and we couldn’t ask anyone because they all disappeared to the back. We then ordered dessert and had informed them it was one of our friends birthday and they said they would bring a birthday plate but surprise surprise THEY FORGOT! We had to chase it up and then when the lady came with it it was alright. She didn’t mention anything about the chocolates having alcohol so the children at the table asked for a chocolate and we gave it to them. One of our friend had the other chocolate on the plate and that’s when we found out that there was Alcohol!!! We decided to just ask for the bill and go. We got our bill and we’re ready to pay but now the card machine were down and then they asked us to pay at the bar. Which we did but then then we were not able to pay separately. I don’t know if we went on a bad day but the service was bad and k wouldn’t recommend it! ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS or allergies/intolerances!!!

   Was a treat for my Mum's birthday. Awful service and even worse food, 3 dry tasteless sandwiches for £28! Total rip off. Won't be rushing back.

   Fabulous experience at this hotel, really enjoyed our Spa treatments. The restaurant was fab staff very helpful very pleasant. Rooms first class, really e noted this break and I would definitely go again.

   I can only speak for the spa, but I found it disappointing. On the occasions I went there I found it overcrowded with nice, but inexpert beauticians. Such a shame, it would be perfect it it could just deliver a better service. Not a patch on the Titanic Spa in Huddersfield!
