“Another fabulous Sunday lunch at Dons! My husband and I loved the perfect lamb shank roast dinner followed by probably the best tiramisu i've ever tasted.. 2 courses £21.95. Always a Warm welcome, efficient and friendly pretty christmas decorations, twinkling all around us helped us to get into the festive mood. We miss Pepe of course but it was lovely to meet Raymondo. Paddy and the rest of the staff always look after us. If you havent been lately I Highly Recommend. I believe Don's is the best Italian food around and is fresh and homemade from scratch. The Seyal Shank was equally impressive, exuding top-quality taste and tenderness. The service was exceptional, with Manager Ali Jr. standing out for his attentiveness and knowledge. He effortlessly provided information on each dish and graciously addressed all my inquiries, making the dining experience truly memorable. I couldn't have asked for a better waiter. This restaurant comes highly recommended for its outstanding cuisine and impeccable service. I would love to regularly visit”

“Had an absolutely delicious 2 course meal as part of the early bird menu. It was slightly cold in there as we were first there but the food more than made up for it. Would definitely visit again maybe wearing something a bit warmer.”

Welcoming staff, exceptional choice on the menu, good selection of bottled beers and spirits. the furnishing are traditional which in my opinion adds character over other curry houses which are ''ultra modern'' which might as well be an Italian or Greek. One of the best curry houses in Merseyside.”

The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, creating a relaxed dining experience with no pressure to vacate the table after finishing my meal. Portion sizes were spot on, just what I was hoping for and even the small orange juice was surprisingly generous. The place had a lively, welcoming vibe, filled with groups of friends and families celebrating together. I’m pretty sure I spotted at least three birthday gatherings! “A great little find in the heart of town. Myself and a friend visited here for dinner whilst at Formby Hotel. We ordered lots of starters as we fancied trying a few things on the menu and each dish was amazing. Service was fantastic, the restaurant is beautiful and atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend for any occasion.”

“Redgate Indian is the hidden jewel for an Indian takeaway. If you didn't know it was there you'd miss it. Unless you visit the Redgate estate you will not pass it. The food is great. Even the papadoms are special! Quality, value and flavour. If you like Indian food this is the one to go for. Try it, you will not be disappointed.”
