The bread and butter pudding was the best dessert I've ever eaten. Make sure you leave room for it, you won't regret it. For mains between 2 of us we had crispy sea bass, fried chicken, crispy potatoes (from the festive menu), and disco cauliflower and it was a good amount of food we were nicely full. All of the flavours were great, we enjoyed every plate. It has made us want to go again to try all of the dishes as everything sounded amazing. The atmosphere was good, it's a relaxed vibe with low lighting. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Enjoyed a delicious meal here on a Wednesday date night. Would highly recommend booking, the place was humming and is small and intimate. The menu offers plenty of choices for veggies and vegans, with meat and fish options besides. The disco cauliflower is legendary for a reason and we ate up every morsel. The falafel sharing platter was tasty and good sized for two. The carrots with sour grapes were a surprise hit and the sweet tahini sauce below them was moorish. Top tip, get the date bread and butter pudding if you have room! At Β£60 for three sharing plates, two desserts and a drink each we thought it was good value. Service was friendly and helpful but a tad slow to take orders. Please consider a cookbook release!!

Wow! Been hearing great things about this place for years, and finally got round to going over the August Bank Holiday weekend. It didn't disappoint! The disco cauliflower, hummus and lamb shawarma were sensational as was the local bee. All in a relaxed and informal atmosphere! Loved it! I'll be back!

All I could say is that this place is absolute superb! we came here to grab a quick bite before catching train home and it was one of the BEST meals we had throughout our trip in Liverpool. Love every bite we had from boquerones to cod and steak and to dessert, wish I found this place earlier. Service is amazing as well, all the staff were lovely x Will definitely come back next time.

Amazing place with Middle Eastern small plates to share. The oyster mushroom shawarma was really nice and not something I tried elsewhere. The whipped goat’s cheese was also great and the pickled watermelon bumped it to the next interesting level. The warm pita was fine but far from exceptional. Disco cauliflower was great and the falafel was pretty solid also. I tried their dessert Lebanese wine which was definitely not to die for but interesting to try - similar I style to sherry or Madeira. Overall I think this place is a must if you are in town since the food is really good. Value for money is very reasonable

Long-time patron of Maray, normally visiting the Albert Dock restaurant but walking past the Bold Street one ans seeing tables we chanced our arm. As expected we weren't disappointed, if you want flavoursome tapas then Maray is the place to go. The disco cauliflower is sublime (from someone who hates cauliflower!) and very filling. The crispy fried chicken and aioli is probably the best fried chicken I've had anywhere. Sweet potato chips, falafel and lamb shawarma were all very tasty ans good portion and we also had the quipped goats cheese and pitta which was a nice side plate! We always go for 6 sides between too because there's too many nice things to eat and occasionally end up having to leave a bit because we're both full. But with flavours this good I want the variety! Make a booking if you really want to be sure you'll get a table. One place not to be missed if you're visiting Liverpool!

One word - INCREDIBLE! We could not get enough of the dishes here, you must try the Disco Cauliflower and thank me later! The Falafels were delicious, could not fault any dishes we ordered! Can't wait to come back, compliments to the chef!

Great experience. Nice vibe, good options on the menu (especially for me who is veggie!) and just great food. All dishes were really tasty, especially the labneh and whipped goats cheese. Staff were really friendly. Would highly recommend!

Found this place by chance although I recall reading some reviews about it. I’m not vegetarian or vegan but if you have someone who is a very good choice. Good cocktails, although for those coming from North America I think we call them shots! Nonetheless very well executed and the same size as you’ll find anywhere else in the UK. Also had a very nice glass of Georgian white from their interesting wine list. A Middle Eastern twist to this place and I found the food very well executed.

Simply amazing food. Can't believe I had never been here before! Had the Maray bhaji, braised carrots, halloumi, the freshest bread with a gorgeous dip and the star of the show, the disco cauliflower. Flavours amazing. Food created with love. Have booked for 3 June for my birthday.
