Came here quite late after work and ordered the fish and chips along with the salt and pepper chips. The prices were very affordable for the generous portions. The service was good and the staff were extremely friendly. There's no table to eat in. We were pleased because the food tasted just right for our liking.
The new cook isnt cooking the food long enough always loved this chippy but lately the chips arent cooked there white and I spent nearly £6 on a fish that was cold inside shes not a good cook bring bk the other lady who always cooked the food cos its gone downhill with your new cook . Gone right of this chippy and been going here for years what a shame
Have been coming here for years but the last few months this has gone properly downhill. £3 for a large chips which are warmed up, burnt and full of grease. Staff who work there have and always will be nice but the quality of food is shocking. Won’t be going back there now.
We booked our meals by phone ,it was ready when i arrived ,only 10 minutes later ,and the food is delicious, good prices too
Could taste the old oil on the chips Iv only ever got fish cakes from there there decent but what I had today has made me Sick can’t say I’ll be going back
First time here last night had char su mushrooms salt and pepper spring rolls fish chips 2 fish cakes (savoury) and chopsuey roll peas and curry. Got served by Tracey who clearly new her job all food was hot and tasty will definitely be coming back 5 stars all round
This is one of my local chippies and I have never tasted anything like it. Appalling chips that are like rubber and the fish cakes have been kicked along a curb then put through the drain. Ended up feeding to dog but he didn't even want it. Will not be going back but such a let down considered the staff were friendly.
