We have just had the same experience as the last reviewer with the ribs, bone dry, rock hard, clearly cooked several times. Prawn crackers stale, salt n pepper squid dry and tasteless. Prawn fried rice .. what prawns? We've never thrown away so much takeaway food and will never use China Palace again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Ordered salt and pepper ribs with noodles tonight. Ordered the same multiple times in the past, always been nice. Tonight the ribs were so overcooked you could have used them to hammer a nail in the wall. So dry. Called up to let them know and the response was if you don’t like it, don’t come back then hung up. We will take you advice and take our regular business elsewhere, just be careful you don’t run out of customers!
Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time in Ellesmere Port - special fried rice was full of meat and lasted me for 3 meals. Salt and pepper shredded chicken and curry sauce was delicious
This takeaway was a huge disappointment. Just delivered - The shredded beef was swimming in a sauce and not pleasant. The Thai ribs were not Hot at all and again swimming in a not so nice sauce. The mushroom chow mein was horribly wet so much so the fine noodles were tasteless. Volume over quality for over £33.00 / very poor. Still got it here if you would like to come and get it!
Several items in the order tasted of nothing but cinnamon. Do not recommend.
We have used this take away lots of times and never had a issue until tonight. Unfortunately we were absolutely disgusted with the horrendous attitude from staff, rang up to order waited 1.5 hours for uncooked food to arrive. Telephoned to complain only for the staff member to tell me there’s nothing they can do then she hung up, eventually they answered the phone again after numerous attempts to call and having to use a different phone number I was told again there’s nothing they can do. I informed them that I would be reporting them to the food standards agency, I was then offered a free meal next time we order, as if we would use this take away, I asked for a refund which was refused. Food was like mush, definitely will not use this place again.
Worst food i have ever tasted or seen in my life. Stay WELL AWAY! and when complained you get told they've never had a problem before and end the phone on you! Salt and pepper chips SWIMMING in grease and rock hard, chicken chow mein thin noodles that are tasteless and the chicken is undercooked! HORRIBLE
Opted for the roast duck in chilli and garlic!! Wow, duck certainly wasn’t roasted, it was only just cooked. My partner had beef curry and fried rice, again tasteless even though he asked for extra chilli. Awful crispy chips, on the plus side the noodles were nice.
