“Lovely place for breakfast, lunch or evening meal. It's just reopened under new management, so I popped in for a breakfast on the first day. Food was excellent and it's in a beautiful spot by the canal and National Waterways museum. There's seating indoors and outside. Perfect place to walk along the canal and then have a coffee and snack here. I noticed people sitting outside with their dogs.”

“Got my self a nasi goreng. Absolutely generous portion. Having lived in east Asia sometime back, this is the only place I have come across having close to the real thing by far across Chester-Ellesmere Port. Must try! Would be going for a dine in soon. Lovely restaurant they have.”

“We needed somewhere close to the waterways museum and this was the perfect spot. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were great, happy, smiling nothing too much trouble and the meal we had was excellent. Our room on the 3rd floor gave us great views over the canals and museum. I would highly recommend. The only potential problem is what appears to be limited parking, although there was a wedding on when we were there which may have been the cause of the problem.”

“Recently popped into caprinos while I was visiting ellesmere port. Unbelievable pizza! Very close to a dominoes pizza (which is a compliment) but better! Because you get to have unbelievable milkshakes! Would highly recommend and hope they open up a place in wallasey”

“Had a lovely breakfast, couldn't fault it and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Shame it is in a small unit, only 1 table indoors, because I am sure it would easily fill up. They seemed to be doing very well from Just Eat orders while we wete there. Will definitely go back.”

“They never make a mistake with an order. The Nice Kebab & Pizza House in Ellesmere Port would regularly leave off an item that I ordered. So I switched to this place. It’s always right and they’ve never been late. 5 stars for taste, and it gets a 5 star food hygiene rating too.”

Our daughter recommended this fantastic place to us,my parents visited before they went to Thailand and they enjoyed it. Now we have tried it.I was hooked after just 2 mouthfuls of my chicken panang. The spring rolls, fishcakes and the stuffed wings exquisite. We are celebrating our 27th anniversary and this was our anniversary meal. I guarantee we will be ordering again thank you so much.”

“Great to have such a lovely cafe in Ellesmere Port. All home cooking and they make lovely cakes daily to have with a coffee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. In March 2021 they moved to a more central location in Ellesmere Port with free parking and back garden.”

“More reasonably priced than its predecessor, Antalya is a lovely looking bistro serving wholesome turkish food. Staff are very friendly and the place is spotlessly clean. When we visited we didnt book, however it soon filled up, so will consider reserving a table in future.”

“My friend and I stopped for lunch at Harry Ramsdens at Cheshire Oaks on Friday 12th December. We were greeted immediately by the lovely Gill, she was our waitress. What a lovely lady she was, very friendly and a cracking sense of humour too. Nothing was too much trouble and she made our experience very enjoyable and for that reason alone I would definitely return and recommend. The food was lovely too. Gill really is a great asset to the team her customer service skills were brilliant.”

“We visited for the first time this morning and were so impressed. Our booking request was acknowledged (needing room for a pram), service was friendly and professional, and the food was amazing! We will definitely be returning to try the lunch menu next time, however we can recommend the full English, Welsh rarebit and Nutella pancakes, we really can’t fault anything; 10/10!”
