We had a pleasant evening at Miller & Carter. The environment is definitely a highlight—it’s stylish, well-decorated, and has a great "steakhouse" feel that makes it perfect for a special occasion or a nice night out. As for the food, the steak itself was good and cooked exactly as requested. However, the rest of the meal was just "okay"—it didn’t quite have that "wow" factor I was expecting given the reputation. While everything was perfectly edible and presented well, it didn't feel particularly impressive or unique. A solid choice for a reliable steak, but perhaps a bit predictable.

My first time here and I'll definitely be back. Michelle was super professional, informative and friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed with boujie decor! My steak was the best I've ever had and would recommend the camerbert mashed potato.

We visited for dinner without a reservation, so the 30-minute wait for a table was reasonable. The waitress service was fine, though not particularly memorable. Cleanliness could be improved — the wine glass had stains, and the lamp above the table was dusty, which slightly affected the overall impression. For the food: • I ordered chicken and Wagyu steak. • The chicken was burnt on the bottom, making the skin too hard to eat, though the meat inside was soft and flavorful. • The Wagyu steak was okay, but didn’t feel special enough to justify the £44 price. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but I expected a bit more in terms of food quality and attention to detail.

We’ve just had an incredible meal. I tried the wagu ribeye which is a great recent(ish) addition to the menu - highly recommended. Our waitress was the lovely Abbie who was as very attentive and made us giggle. Thanks Abbie and team for a great post-shopping dinner!

Great service and lovely food, the lunch menu is a brilliant offer, 2 courses for £18 and when we went mocktails were 2 for £10 so bargain for a late afternoon lunch. Service was great, staff very attentive and friendly. Tuesday afternoon when we went it was not very busy so we were able to get a table straight away. Great after a trip to Cheshire oaks!

First time we visited here & we can see why the reviews are so good. The service was absolutely excellent, very attentive, friendly, polite and helpful. The steaks we all had were cooked to perfection & were delicious. Everything that came with the meals was just as lovely. Definitely quality over quantity and it shows. Book to avoid disappointment as it can get busy, once you go you'll understand why!

Lovely food, our waitress had a curt manner though. We thought about adding some bread to our order and were told abruptly that she had already put our order through, then tried to back track a little by adding we would have enough to eat in our order. She was quite blunt when my husband was making conversation with her too. I appreciate they were busy but think would go to other MC establishments in the future. Update 3/8/22 Have tried today to contact after you asked, and left a message. I will try again, but it would be helpful if you could advise who i ask speak to.

Excellent:-) 30 DAY AGED CHATEAUBRIAND 16OZ To Share. Hand-cut from the fillet primal, this 30 day aged ‘Masters of Steak’ accredited steak is one of the most tender cuts. My review is on the food and service and not the cost. The steak was perfect, this steak experience will stay with me for sometime. Yes its a sharing plate, but many do eat this for themselves. Which is what we done. Because its sharing you get double fries and double choice of sauces... We went Saturday afternoon, we pre booked via the website. It wasn't busy, great mellow atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful no complaints. Yes I would recommend for any occasion.

Delicious food and a fantastic menu available all cooked perfectly Served in warm surroundings and by friendly and helpful staff.. The restaurant has a warm and friendly atmosphere and is a ideal place to eat at any time of day or night.. We had a three course meal with drinks and the price was very reasonable. Had a little wait between starters and the main but to be fair the restaurant was very busy at the time.. But it was worth the wait.. Miller and Carter are renowned for their steak... And it did not disapoint.. My rump steak was cooked to perfection.. Again my starter of carrot soup was piping hot and tasty.. Wasn't keen on ordering it but our server suggested I tried it..desert was apple and rhubarb crumble with custard.. Again delicious.. Highly recommended..
