“I had the salt and pepper chicken, along with 1/4 aromatic crispy duck, followed with the croffle for desert. The staff were very welcoming and catered to our needs the whole evening. My bill came to under 35 pounds with drinks included. Would definitely recommend!”
“Fantastic staff and a lovely venue!”
“We’ve just had an incredible meal. I tried the wagu ribeye which is a great recent(ish) addition to the menu - highly recommended. Our waitress was the lovely Abbie who was as very attentive and made us giggle. Thanks Abbie and team for a great post-shopping dinner!”
“Dinner at Dolci was such a treat. The pasta was delicious and the Matilda cake was everything I hoped it would be. The staff were kind and attentive, creating such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.”
“More reasonably priced than its predecessor, Antalya is a lovely looking bistro serving wholesome turkish food. Staff are very friendly and the place is spotlessly clean. When we visited we didnt book, however it soon filled up, so will consider reserving a table in future.”
“We visited for the first time this morning and were so impressed. Our booking request was acknowledged (needing room for a pram), service was friendly and professional, and the food was amazing! We will definitely be returning to try the lunch menu next time, however we can recommend the full English, Welsh rarebit and Nutella pancakes, we really can’t fault anything; 10/10!”
“Excellent food, very good service/staff. The venue was alot better than expected.”
“Food was lovely - i had the chicken pesto pizza and my partner had the steak. Both were delicious and would recommend !! Jo served us and she was very friendly and quick! Cocktails were lovely too”
“Wow where do we start. We can certainly tick off all of the boxes above. We dined at the chesire branch for fathers day 2025. After looking at the menu I knew it would be the best place for myself, my husband and our 2 children aged 1 & 4. We had travelled 2 hours for a weekend in chester therefore I couldn't bring with me any decor for fathers day, the amazing manager Laura instantly gave us a balloon to take away and the most amazing and welcoming service, infact every member of staff we interacted with were so pleasant. The restaurant clearly went above and beyond to ensure everyone there enjoyed fathers day and any other occasion they may have. The food was really good and left us wanting more even though we were full. The staff were amazing with the kids, which actually led mummy and daddy enjoy their meal. This does not happen often, so a very special thank you!! Thank you las iguanas cheshire for really making our evening, and giving us an amazing fathers day evening. When visiting chesire again, you will be the first on our list!”
“10 of us went for the buffet 4 were children they loved going to help themselves the choice was excellent”
“Amazing Service- Lovely Staff! We were on our way to the train with under 20 minutes to spare and we called in to ask if we had time to get a takeaway meal. The staff were amazing and made everything for us in time for us to make it to the train! Lovely guys, and lovely food.”
“We were starving and chose Comptoir as we knew it won't disappoint! I was in the mood for a stew, and their chicken and green olive tagines was amazing! This was Layton suggestion, and i am very happy i went for it. Tasty, full of fragrance, interesting and filling. My wife had the chicken taouk, which she couldn't finish, as the portions here are quite generous. Food came very quickly, even though the restaurant was quite busy, and also the drinks. Over all was a very good experience specially because our waiter went above and beyond to welcome us, he's very friendly and chatty, he explained the menu and he cared for allergies and any questions we had. Oh, i almost forgot to praise their lemonades... very very good and refreshing! We'll definitely come back, thanks Leyton and the kitchen”
“We have to add to our previous review as your only allowed 1 review and so many words, so now you’ll see the date of visit and will be posted on Tripadvisor. 1st October 2025 ‘Wandering Wednesday’ full review on tripadvisor. 8th January 2025. The first ‘Wandering Wednesday’ of the New Year… Took Hubby Neil and I to Cheshire Oaks, to one of our favourite eateries…. Chiquito’s….. we love this Mexican restaurant. Fresh food, cooked to order, full of flavours and colour! We both had a pot of tea, as this day is so cold with the snow and freezing fog…. Starters: we both had the same: a double stack of tortillas, layered with garlic butter, parsley with mozzarella and oven baked….. thin and crispy, a perfect base…. A simple dish but sooooo tasty. Entrée’s: Neil had a tinga chicken and beef chilli Burrito filled with rice, black beans, salsa, mozzarella, quac, jalapeño cheese sauce, all wrapped in a tortilla, with added volcano sauce to spice it up, the dish was dressed with a side of homemade nachos with sour cream to dip…. Neil also added a side of spicy fries. I had tinga chicken with beef chilli Enchiladas, filled with rice, jalapeño cheese sauce, black beans, baked in the oven with rich tomato sauce, mixed with volcano sauce for that extra little kick and melted mozzarella over the top, with red pickled onions and sour cream…… A side of loaded crisp seasoned fries with chicken, chorizo and melted mozzarella….. All the dishes were perfect, our server today was a lovely lady who has served us previously, Amanda was professional, very courteous and attentive, a total credit to this establishment, many thanks for making our lunch perfect. Also massive complements to the chefs for their beautifully presented, culinary delights! Will we be back? Really! No need to ask!! 100% yes! 13 November 2024 ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubster Neil and I to Chiquito’s at Cheshire Oaks. Starters: Neil had a double tortilla, oven baked layered with melted cheese, garlic butter, parsley and finely chopped red chilli on top, lovely and crisp with no soggy bottom! I had Quesadilla Birria with melted mozzarella cheese, fried onion and shredded beef….. served with a gravy jus. Entrée’s: Neil had Burrito filled with rice, refried beans, salsa, mozzarella, guacamole, jalapeño cheese sauce, tinga chicken, beef chilli and hot sauce all wrapped up in a large tortilla, the oven baked, accompanied with homemade tortilla chips and sour cream…..and a side dish of spiced fries. I had Enchiladas, tortillas filled with rice, jalapeño cheese sauce, tinga chicken and Barbacoa beef, baked in tomato sauce, smothered with Monterey Jack cheese, then finished off with sour cream and pink onions. A side dish of loaded nachos, jalapeño peppers, onions, melted mozzarella, sour cream, jalapeño cheese sauce, guacamole and salsa, with chicken and chorizo, tray baked so it all infused! Washed down with a pot of tea each, warmed us cockles as it was a very cold day. Our server was a lovely lady called Amanda, excellent service with a beautiful smile, very polite and attentive, totally professional, a credit to this restaurant, thank you, also many thanks to the chefs, your food was delicious, again thank you. The restaurants all around the ‘Coliseum’ at Cheshire Oaks look very tired and washed out from the outside but we can reassure you that Chiquito’s on the inside is gleaming, very clean, surrounded with very colourful, Mexican shades in the decor, truly beautiful inside and the food is OUTSTANDING, as always…… Will we go back? Most DEFINITELY!!!”
“Good French food. I had the duck with cherry sauce and the café Gourmand. Very nice, service isn't fast but they cook food to order. Staff are helpful and the toilets are clean with nice toiletries. Great for foodies, maybe not the best place if you need to refuel fast and get back to the bargains. Good tip to check on their website before you go, I got a voucher with 30 percent off. And check when you order, it may not cover everything. Beautiful food.”
“Delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The dishes were fresh, full of flavour, and well presented. Portion sizes were spot on, and the prices were very fair. Highly recommend and will definitely return!”
“We came here today for the first time in over a year. I give it all fives as didn’t have any problems. The server was very friendly, food was brilliant and the atmosphere was nice. The robot butler came a few times with our food - that was an unexpected twist. Overall, definitely better than Broughton Park.”
“Lovely donuts, always hot & freshly made, the Lady & young chap that work there every weekend are friendly & helpful”
“Me and my partner ordered from here today and I tell you, they've ruined my future takeaway experience. NEVER AGAIN will I find a burger as nice as the 1/2 lb cheese with donner. Can honestly call it my new favorite takeaway in the area. Not only was the food spectacular, but the estimated delivery was 40-60 minutes, and I even commented to your driver as food was with us in 20. Will be back for another order for sure. (Thanks to the chefs and workers for their skill)”
