    Tasteless batter and dry fish Have had fish and chips from here about 6 times and whilst the fish is usually nice the batter is extremely tasteless to the point it's not nice. However the last time both large fish were as dry as anything and almost impossible to separate it from the batter, as it was only 5p.m. I think they were leftovers from lunchtime and simply kept warm until they reopened

    Food is always hot, freshly cooked and spot on. The fish is full of fish not air like other places. Staff are always friendly. Best chippy by far in e.port. have started delivering which is a bonus

    Im a traveling contractor.paid a visit to Tony's for a large fish and chips ,under a tenner and absolutely beautiful it was plenty of it,very reasonable price . I'll be back ...cheers

    Been using this chippy for many years and fish normally good. However, tonight we had 2 small fish dinner and really disappointed. What fish there was in the batter was hard and dry and the batter was like chewing on cardboard. Chips and peas not much better and for £13 would expect a lot better. I did ring the shop and a sorry!

    Bit of a queue but that's only because it's such a nice chippy I used to work for a chippy and can tell they change their oil regularly and food is always lovely
