   Been here a few times and always enjoyed pasta dishes so would definitely recommend pasta dishes. But one occasion ordered fillets steak and was quite disappointed. So i will still go back just I wouldn’t recommend fillet steak. But very reasonable priced restaurant. Staff nice and friendly

   A hard review to write really as me and my partner really loved this restaurant but after today we probably will never return, to start we got sat in a back room glass cube when the entire restaurant was pretty much free. To top that off it was cold in there and our table was an outdoor table with an umbrella hole in the middle squeezed next to a ridiculously sized Christmas tree, these issues wouldn’t usually be an issue if the foods up to scratch but it massively failed to meet expectations. Crispy chilli beef was soggy, which gave the impression of being reheated and then the “lobster” ravioli was the worse “lobster” I’ve ever tasted just a paste in the middle really really poor taste and texture, I’ve ordered that meal in 4 other Italian restaurants in Liverpool and it’s been miles better, so disappointing overall

   Another fabulous Sunday lunch at Dons! My husband and I loved the perfect lamb shank roast dinner followed by probably the best tiramisu i've ever tasted.. 2 courses £21.95. Always a Warm welcome, efficient and friendly pretty christmas decorations, twinkling all around us helped us to get into the festive mood. We miss Pepe of course but it was lovely to meet Raymondo. Paddy and the rest of the staff always look after us. If you havent been lately I Highly Recommend. I believe Don's is the best Italian food around and is fresh and homemade from scratch. Thank you Tommy and your team. See you soon for our neighbours traditional xmas get together.

   Had a beautiful meal for my daughter 16th birthday. Food was absolutely gorgeous, we got the mixed grill, which a tad expensive but completley worth it, my daughters friend said the pepperoni pizza was spot on too. Service was amazing, staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was stunning, impeccably clean and I wanted to move the bathroom to my own house. Thank you Don Luigi staff for making my daughters 16th birthday so memorable.

   Amazing. From Entry big smiles from staff. Very happy and helpful. The food was AMAZING. The meatballs were 10/10 and the pizzas were 10/10. The cheese pull went from the plate to the ceiling as shown in my video. I would suggest coming this place is incredible. Thank you for making our anniversary meal one to remember.

   Food was delicious! That's the most important thing . Small minuses are 1 long wait for service ( there where really busy today ) and no car park at all , one that is at side of it is only for gym members ... Except that was very tasty , fresh , and service was really nice and helpful all the time ! Exceptional restaurant! Next time defo wi will come back if we visit Formby again !

   What a super place! Genuine Italian greeting and people; lively and well supported even mid afternoon and fully booked in the evening. Upstairs for private gigs or karaoke fun etc. Downstairs offers indoors and outdoor dining. Really attentive staff and the food was out of this world! Tagliatelle Marinara; tagliatelle salmon; cheesy and delicious lasagne; desserts were delicious and plentiful in their servings and the cheese and biscuits for 1 was shared between 2! A really great place - highly recommended. Prices - depending on what you order - range from below £10 through to £30 odd if going for the seafood for 2. There were 8 of us including 2 kids, plus drinks and mostly all 2 course meals. Worked out to being roughly £23 each
