Most overrated chippy, just had 2 supposedly cod?? Worst fish I've ever had out of any chippy. All batter with the thinnest peice of cod. Bone dry and tasteless. I would recommend going to other chippy's in or around the area. Am reading through the 5 star reviews on here and am telling you they must be friends and family

Very tasty fish, very delicious curry sauce. For the mashed peas I wound say it was medium. And very polite and friendly staff..
After many months of having food from here whilst having my chemotherapy, they provided a small fish, chips and peas that was an ideal size. The young man even took a bit off as he knew that I couldn’t eat even the small portion of chips, so would only give me about ten chips and charge me accordingly. Today to go there to find it’s gone up, but also I would still have to pay the full price even though I only wanted about ten chips as otherwise the rest is just waste. To then be served it rolled up like a sausage in some paper and told we now charge to put it in a box, so more money again considering I’ve always had it served in a box every other time. To then be told I needed to pay for a bag as well, when I asked for one to protect it as I was in the car. So what was usually £5 I was now charged £6-20 When I questioned it the two young lady staff, were not anything like as pleasant as the young man that is usually there. Overall unfortunately this time I was very disappointed and my experience was not a good one, which makes me wonder if I will be going back
Nice chippy. But chip portions are small for price... very clean. staff pleasant
Not even worth one star ordered fish chips and mushy peas twice... The fish was non existent plenty of batter though. The batter ingredients must have been changed because it was not nice.. We complained as we did and could not find much fish fair enough they replaced it but unfortunately the same thing... All went in the bin... Shame as we use the chippy alot
Slither of overcooked Cod in bubbly overdone hard, crunchy, oily batter 3 times the size of the fish - it was passable but considering it was £5 a fish found quality didn't match the price. Chips were amazing and box meal came in full of oil like they'd not shook items as they came out of fryer.
Fantastic fish and chips. Great portion and very nice tartar sauce. I love their paper boxes which keeps your food nice fresh when you take away. Lovely friendly staff too.x
We often go to their Hale fish shop so tried this one and found it was up to their high standard. The Fish and Chips were very good. You can eat in and there is plenty of parking.
