The three-course Christmas meal was absolutely delicious and beautifully thought out from start to finish. The starter of portobello mushroom was rich, hearty, and perfectly cooked, offering deep, earthy flavours that set the tone for the rest of the meal. The main course, turkey, was wonderfully tender and full of traditional festive flavour. It was cooked to perfection, juicy and satisfying, and paired brilliantly with the accompanying elements to create a comforting and classic Christmas experience. To finish, the apple and strawberry crumble was a real highlight. The fruit was sweet and gently tangy, balanced perfectly by a golden, crumbly topping that added just the right amount of texture. It was a delightful and indulgent end to a fantastic meal. Overall, this three-course Christmas dinner was comforting, flavoursome, and thoughtfully prepared — a truly enjoyable festive treat that left everyone feeling content and well cared for.

We recently booked this venue for our wedding and decided to stop in for an impromptu lunch - and we’re so glad we did! The food was fantastic, especially the ribs, which were absolutely delicious. Toni was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making the whole experience even better. We’re even more excited now to celebrate our big day here next year!

We had a lovely meal. The staff were amazing and even got mushrooms put on my kids pizza at the last min. My husbands veal escalope was brilliant. Thank you xxx

Dined early so very quiet. Very efficient and polite but not overbearing service. Recommend the vegetable soup as starter, followed by the beef borgeinon which was excellent. Minor point but if there is any weakness it is in the desert offerings. The creme brulee had more in common with a cheesecake than a custard and the sugar topping was at least 10 times thicker than need be.

One of the best meals I’ve had in all of London what a treat. Phenomenal service, lovely setting and incredible dishes. Will be back often and can’t stop telling friends to visit!!

Food...Great. Service...lovely, prices...not bad. The place was empty apart from our little group. Was very disappointed to hear from my wife that the "facilities " were dire. Should really deduct a star for that!

Decent place during the evening. Haven't tried their food. Drinks are good and reasonable price. Parking available on the street if you can find. Music could be better and outside smoking are could be cleaner as there was a few puddles

Reserved a table during eat out to help out in advance but still had to wait 30 minutes for a table because staff were not checking reservation times on arrival but purely seating the next party in the queue. When we finally sat down, the manager Elton did try to make up for the delay by ensuring that we weren’t waiting too long for the food which was appreciated. I had the fish and chips which was underwhelming at best and had it not been for the 50% off, I would not be inclined to eat here again. The manager asked us at the end of the meal if we enjoyed the food and I told him about my disappointment that the peas weren’t in fact mushy peas which was specified in the menu, but rather dry petit poi peas partially crushed with a fork! The manager didn’t really empathise and said that these were mushy peas which was surprising to say the least. Their website states the manager has worked in Gordon Ramsey’s restaurants to hone his craft. Well, I dread to think what colourful language Gordon would use if he found out one of his ex-employees was passing this off as ‘mushy peas’! Ironically, we also spoke to another member of staff prior to speaking with the manager, a lady, whom agreed with us and chuckled that these weren’t really mushy peas, so it was a shame that the manager continued to take full payment, dismissed a customer’s genuine concerns and didn’t empathise or really try to rectify the situation in anyway. I didn’t give this one star because as previous reviews have pointed out the interior design is very good and I can imagine it being a great place to have a party or casual drinks.

Toni and his team are fantastic. We used the private room upstairs for a private function. The personalised menu was fantastic! Everyone loved the food - tasted great and very healthy portions! The service was genuinely 5 star, prompt and professional. The team struck the right balance of being on hand to wait, but leaving us to it to enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend and will be back to visit!

Good food. Attentive staff. More modern and more quiet on a Tuesday night than the normal local pub. We'd come back.
