WOW 5**** absolutely amazing food and service! :) really enjoyed our meal here at Ginger Italian! The food was phenomenal and the service exceptional! Everyone was very friendly, smiley and singing which made us laugh. The food was great quality, and fairly priced. We will definitely be back!
The recent dining experience was, regrettably, subpar. The service and food quality were significantly below expectations during our visit celebrating a friend's birthday. Initial drink service was delayed, with a 43-minute wait for the first order. The starter was excessively dry, and a requested balsamic vinegar was not provided, making it inedible . A 50-minute delay occurred between the starter and main courses. The main courses presented several issues. The chicken burger featured an unsatisfactory buttermilk coating and excessively melted cheese, resulting in oil accumulation on the plate, and the accompanying fries were cold. The lamb chops were served cold, primarily consisting of fat and lacking seasoning. The mashed potatoes lacked flavour and was SMASH. The risotto's presentation was unappealing, and it was also served cold and lacked flavour Meal delivery was not synchronised, and there was a considerable delay between the main course and dessert, with four desserts initially forgotten about. One server's demeanor and actions indicated a lack of enthusiasm with slamming drinks on the table and ignoring requests for our follow up drinks. Furthermore, the music volume was excessive, hindering conversation at all, and the dance floor setup and table rearrangement occurred during the main course and dessert service, disrupting the dining experience.
Honestly the best pasta I've ever had! Washed down with the most perfectly made passionfruit martinis. I'd come here every weekend if I could! Beautiful place, staff are amazing and they really look after everyone. Definitely my new favourite restaurant!
Great food especially loved the meatballs starter. Great vibe and very friendly attentive staff. Singer last night was amazing!
I went there a few months ago with my partner and my son. In terms of food… it was actually pretty good. However, the service we received was questionable. I get better a service at Pizza Express I can tell you that. During the meal I went with my son to the WC and I found a waiter seating on the table where a chef serves food (I think) while polishing a cutlery. And that put me off a big time. Next we ordered a starter and the main. Waiter came and asked us if we need plates without explaining what they might be for witch lead to a bit of confusion. I’m like yes please as I don’t want my pizza to put on a plate. But what she meant was actually for a starter that we shared lol. Overall I was disappointed and will not visit this place again. Also, they have not acknowledged us when we were leaving this “restaurant” and that has put a nail in a coffin. No go for me.
If you lean towards large amounts of spontaneous unofficial karaoke with strangers then this is your go-to venue. The fun-loving waitress who may be the manager or even owner loves to sing and dance and get everybody else involved. If it’s your birthday, they will make a real fuss of you. If you’d like a quieter meal with undisrupted conversation, then this may not be your top choice. I know Italian restaurants often don’t do salads, but I asked for one (not on the menu) and they made one up for me. It was ok - no dressing, just your basic lettuce and tomato and chicken strips. Not cheap. Lovely staff. Dim lighting. Reasonable parking after 630pm.
My wife and I came to this little gem, what an amazing little place. Food was incredible, the staff so friendly and happy nothing was too much trouble. Anoyed that we didn't go sooner and missed out on that lovely food!!! If you are in the area you will not be disappointed, definitely worth a visit or three!!!! Would give more stars but that's all Google will let me give!!!!
