   We ordered jerk chicken and goat curry for dinner and while the curry was OK，the jerk chicken is the worst I've ever had. I didn't bother eating more than a couple of mouthfuls because the chicken tasted like it's a few days old and it's been microwaved so it's dry and hard. The taste isn't of jerk chicken, just salty, dry chicken with lots of sweet sauce on top to hide the dryness. We will not be ordering from here again.

   i’m around new barnet a lot and i love this cuisine so naturally i’ve made a few stops to pumpkin rice, i order a couple of patty’s every time i go, and not once have they been cooked properly, every single time i have been to this shop i have heard a microwave beep. i want to see chefs loving what they cook and cooking things at least with a bit of love. every bite i took tasted like ‘exhausted hunched over man putting a beautiful snack in the microwave and ruining it’. if only ainsley harriot was there to see that. overall i have grown to strongly dislike the shop because every SINGLE time i go the food is microwaved and it’s a joke.

   The most unbelievable Caribbean take away, love this food, keep looking for good places which isn’t the easiest living in Barnet, but usually really disappointed , finally tried here last night and the food was absolutely top drawer, Curry Goat was so good, so much meat (not just bone like some places), and fresh tasting, jerk wings.....rice......all REALLY REALLY good, and this is coming from someone who complains about everything!!! Highly recommend it, can’t wait to finish off mine for breakfast. Will be a regular customer from now on. Delicious.

   Once you get your head around the fact that making your actual order by phone can take longer than the average take away restaurant you will be pleasantly surprised- the food is always lovely especially the stewed Chicken and soups. My family love this grub and have been regulars since they opened. The staff are actually all very pleasant now we know them and the portions are generous. If you like your West Indian food and live locally this place is worth trying!!
