Top quality food and very reasonable prices. Sausage rolls are a ten all day. Pasta box's are heavy and soups boss as well.
Ordered a meal deal from here on Friday, a Cajun chicken sandwich, crisps, pop, and as a treat, a brownie that cost nearly £5. For a start, my sandwich came with the wrong filling (chicken and bacon) which is annoying but not the worst. I wrote my review on just eat to reflect that. I saved my brownie for a mid afternoon treat, and about 2/3 of the way through pulled out the longest bright orange hair, baked right in. It’s not the clearest in the photo I’ve attached but I have a video of the brownie being pulled around by said hair. I’ve tried to raise this over Instagram and I’ve been ignored. Since writing the review both the cafe and the person who bakes the brownies have been in touch to apologise and offer refunds/replacements which is hugely appreciated.
This is the first time ordering from here, and this is my experience. The staff didn't & don’t read order notes. I ordered a meal deal, which includes butty crisps and a drink. I asked for a brown sub with tuna sweetcorn, onion, lettuce tomatoes, and peppers. I received a white sub - I can not eat white bread! The salad added was a few scrappy onions and lettuce. The drink was missing, as was the crisps. I also ordered an egg and "cress" with tomato. The tomatoes were missing as was the rest of the cress, to call it egg and cress when it has about 3 stems of cress is pathetic, especially as cress is like 20p. I will say that the sausage rolls are lovely, think old satterthwaites but better pastry but they are very small at a third of the size so very expensive at £3.50. I paid in total £16 for a small sausage roll and two butties, one that can't even be eaten. It was a waste of my money and won't be reordering.... If you have dietary requirements, I would suggest ordering elsewhere, as the staff appear to send out whatever they like.
