It's a really nice local place that has lots of interesting dishes to try. I like their hakka-style pork belly and Chinese tea, which is offered at a friendly price. The service is kind and friendly.
Hakkamoon is one of our favorite restaurants. This time we ordered a few off-menu dishes and they were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend the stream chicken with Chinese sausages, pan-fried cuttlefish patties, cumin-spiced pork trotters, stir-fried cabbage with pork cracklings. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. Not to mention my every time must have dessert Chinese caramel banana.
I was recommended to try this restaurant over 8 years ago and have eaten there at least twice a month since. I have taken groups of my friends there every two weeks and they all love the food, service, atmosphere and cleanliness including the well maintained toilets. The service from Moon is always fantastic and she always tries her hardest. Always polite and kind. The food is very good and portions are generous and tasty. The toffee apple or toffee banana with ice cream is the best and her light floral Chinese tea (not the black tea) is the best in any restaurant in London. Their presentation of their dishes too are also very good. I would definitely recommend eating here and they have a private area for around a dozen people on the higher level of the uncluttered and very relaxing restaurant.
Good selection in the menu, very tasty food, quick service. Doesn't have to wait for long for a table but best to make an appointment especially if you fancy one of the round tables. Parking could be tricky and the neighbourhood could be a bit of concern at night, though the restaurant can do nothing about this.
Absolutely delicious food! The staff is super friendly and the environment spotlessly clean. Best authentic Cantonese restaurant in South London, if not the whole of London. Brings back many good memories. The amount of effort the chef has put into the food is hugely appreciated. Will definitely come back again and again. Looking forward to the next visit already! Update: came back a second time and didn’t disappoint at all. This is officially my favourite Cantonese restaurant in the UK.
Finding authentic Chinese food is incredibly difficult. This is a wonderful restaurant, friendly staff and a chef that is incredibly talented. We loved our meal, highlights the aubergine, lobster and octopus. I will be dreaming about this meal for a good whiles. Superb, so if your in the area this has to be a stop
Lovely decorated small restaurant, warm atmosphere. Nice staff with excellent services and knowledgeable to her dishes. All dishes we ordered are good taste at reasonable charges. Six of us enjoyed great time. Will definitely come again. Highly recommended.
Delicious food and great service, and very well priced, plus it's nicely decorated too. The Kung po prawns were my personal favourite. We went for a birthday dinner and they were kind enough to bring out a complementary dessert with a candle, which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend and will definitely be going again.
One of the nicest Chinese restaurants in this area. The owner was a long time staff from Goldmine in Bayswater (which was really nice). Dishes are well priced and always tasty. The Malaysian dishes are good and about as authentic as you will be south West London.
