This is based on the Francesinha. Place is nice and cosy, francesinha is ok. No beef steak ( its pork) and despite the sauce being spicy which I liked it had a sweet taste in the end to it. Its ok if you miss eating one. Staff is really nice.
I was introduced to this place by a friend, and must say I was positively surprised. The taste of chicken amd port ribs was amazing! Juicy and well seasoned meat is definitely worth the wait. Thanks to our waiter ( sorry did not get his name, with long beard and mustache) our experience was even better. He met our needs and expectations promptly despite other customer . Thank you. Home made chocolate mousse was very tasty, not overwhelming sweet either. The double espresso made with the famous Delta brand was an amazing finish for this lunch ans dessert experience! Thank you to owner and her team!
So delicious! Staff members are so sweet and welcoming. The restaurant is small but cosy. Most importantly, the food here is magnificent, I liked it a lot. Good portions (I was unable to eat it all!!) The salad is good as well, with a lemon sauce, I think? I loved it ❤️
Decent Portuguese food. Staff was very friendly too. Octopus salad and grilled chorizo in the starters were delish. Garlic lemon chicken was tasty too. Portions are huge. PS: get the homemade chilli oil, it’s amazing and hot!
What a gem of a place! And people say there‘s no delicious food in the UK! Chicken Skewers were delicious. Should give 4 stars for the inconsiderate guy next to me who was loudly watching movies on his phone without using headphones, but food was so good that I’ll overlook this.
£3.50 pints, lovely authentic food, great service and all in a cosy setting! What more can you want, we will for sure be returning to this hidden gem.
Authentic Portuguese food!! Excelente quality, it's very fresh and feels like home made...trust me, I know, I'm Portuguese! Very welcoming place, and Mina is an excellent host!! Obrigado!! we will surely be back!!!
What a GEM of a place! Me and my partner are both portuguese and this was by far the best portuguese food we've had in London! Everything from the prawns to the main event which was the steak skewers were perfectly cooked and so tasty! This will definitely be a regular place for us!
Gem of a place! The recent interior upgrade together with excellent mechanical venting of the kitchen is an improvement. The dining area is much more roomy and there is a bar! Fuss-free food - we always come here for the grilled chicken with salad (awesome dressing). Portuguese coffee and a nata is a must, to finish off your meal
