   I don't know what has happened to the wetherspoons menu but it's shockingly bad. No steaks, no baguettes the choice is very poor. You don't even get hash browns on your full English now. Don't know who's idea it was to cut the menu in half but we won't be rushing back. Wetherspoons are notorious for long queues and only one or two at most behind the bar and this place was no different. I like the idea of having the kitchen on display. My beans were served cold so I asked them to be heated. It took so long to stick them in the microwave and bring back that I had finished my breakfast by the time I got them back so they were no good. I had two cups of Luke warm latte's. There's cheap and cheerful but then there is just poor. Come on wetherspoons buck up.

   My favourite stop on bike rides. Great staff, nicely presented, and positive vibes. Food is always great ( most of the time I eat breakfast ). Nice ambience and lovely seating area outside. ***** one of the best wetherspoon pubs

   Busy pub and lively at the weekend with a mix of older and younger drinkers. Staff are quick with table service and to clean up after punters have left table. Main thing like all Spoons pubs is the beer is cheap and probably explains how popular it is. Not everyone can afford five quid pints at the new and refurbed venues not too far away. Thank god for Tim Martin and prices we can all enjoy.

   Lovely food, good service, and a very nice building with a history and nice renovation details.. NOTE: Disabled toilets contain ceiling track hoist, with good manoeuvrability, nice and clean .. hence the 5 stars

   I do like this pub, from the outside it looks Amazing, like a flagship for spoons but me and my freinds who eat and drink here think it's understaffed.. the place is so big..my local spoons is a third the size but with the same amount of staff as this place. The staff do there best if you watch them,non stop,if you ever think it's untidy just help.. Doesn't take much to take your glasses or plate's back instead of leaving them on the table.. Had a fab meal some great real ale, good company too. Great freindly staff as always x
