   Upon entering the chip shop, I noticed ample space for manoeuvring, complemented by a large range and service desk. The staff were visibly cheerful, occasionally breaking into song, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Their friendliness made me feel immediately welcome and not rushed. The menu offered sufficient variety to satisfy the regular visitors of the seaside town of Formby. The establishment was clean and orderly, and the food was exceptionally tasty, particularly the cheesy chips and salt-and-pepper squid. Despite numerous visits to Formby, I had never dined at this chip shop before. I won't repeat this mistake, and I plan to visit again when I'm next in the vicinity. I later learnt that the railway station across the road has a car park that patrons of the chip shop can use without charge, though this may require further verification. In summary, this chip shop comes highly recommended, boasting excellent food and affable staff.    A great place we came across when going Formby, staff were nice and a variety in choices. The haddock we ordered was nicely fried though wish the batter had more seasoning. We also got the scampi which was of good quality and the large chips which was HUGE portion. Overall enjoyable experience on a nice sunny day to the beach!

   Looks like it's had a refurb since some of the other reviews. Very clean and modern. Nice food and friendly staff. Handy for getting chippy before heading to squirrel park if using the train as right by station.

   I went to this chippy a few years ago and wasn't that impressed so haven't been back before now. This time it was gorgeous the fish wasn't greasy the batter was light and the fish perfectly cooked, the chips were chunky and the curry sauce was good. Will be back again soon.

   Only thing better than the staff is the actual nosh. Superb batter. Bestest chippy around. No honestly. That good. The Spicey Curry Sauce is brill, but, few things beat mushy peas with your F&C.

   Just ordered fish chips peas (and other meals too) from the good catch Formby I live literally round the corner and just got home and opened it straight away this is what I’ve just opened for fish and chips the whole fish was already In pieces and just crumbled absolute joke I’m embarrassed that I’ve just spent like £20 on what’s meant to be one of the best fish and chips
