   Haven’t been for ages but a group of friends suggested we go because they were having live music. It was far to loud couldn’t hear myself think let alone have a conversation, ordered the grilled octopus and couldn’t believe my eyes, it was such a small portion I thought they were joking especially for £30. I raised this with the waiter and he offered me a £2 discount, insulated was an understatement, I paid my bill leaving out the service charge and any additional tips and told them I would never go back. Greek Cypriots are not used to cheap food and small portions. I used to be a regular there before Covid and since they are awful tasteless and stingy

   Had a fantastic experience at Blue Olive in Cockfosters. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

   Went for someone's birthday celebration with about 30 people. All was organized and prepared fresh. Food kept coming mezze style for sharing. I was too busy eating to take proper pictures.

   I've eating here many times and the food has always been on point. I've attended with friends and family and neither have been disappointed. The food always tastes good and there is a variety to choose from. We mainly go for the meze as it has a mixture of dips, fish and meat dishes. The portions are reasonable sized.

   We were part of a large group of 20+ people. Although we booked for 15 people, extras turned up and the staff were so accommodating. Food was very authentic. No dish that stood out above another, everything was spot on. Great evening, thank you!

   Terrible food !!!!! The food was very bland and no seasoning at all. Restaurant was empty yet the service is very slow and food takes very long to be served. Food has no taste and when I asked for some lemon and olive oil the waitress was upset. They don't come to check on you to see if everything is ok. Bulgur was very old or made out of precooked package. I had a lamb kebab which was mostly fat and I requested something else and got the grilled seabream which had absolutely no taste and no seasoning. Their food is a shame to Greek cuisine. Horrible food No wonder the restaurant is empty.

   Lovely atmosphere, staff and food. Had the meze and it was all so tender. Only thing I would say is food needed a bit of salt (I know this is preference) also the prawns were very soft but needed some sort of flavour - was hoping for a bit of garlic rather than just a cooked prawn. Again, very tender food just not as full of flavour as I would have hoped. Meze on the reasonable side and you do get a lot of food but drinks are quite expensive £6 for a large beer and £3 for a bottle of Coke - but that's Cockfosters I suppose. Desserts were lovely and the baklava was 10/10 - just very small. Will be back, but hoping there is a few more herbs and spices on the food.

   Tried the fish meze at blue olive and it was great. You get quite a good selection of fish. My favourite items were octopus, swordfish and calamari. I visited when it was relatively empty at around 4pm (pre-dinner rush) and the service was good but service is expectedly slower during busier times, so definitely worth factoring.
