First and foremost, they had the door open and the cold weather was blowing onto my granddad who’s in wheel chair and cannot physically move away from where he was placed. Had to go back and forth a few times to ask if there was anyway to stop the wind from getting in, before they finally agreed to accommodate after they had said no. On top of all of that, in general they act as if asking for basic things such as sauces etc is a hassle. Overall food is below average and service is so bad. Don’t bother going for set Menus as well. Not worth it in my opinion. We went in and was offered a set menu as we were a large group. Just want to add that the set menus are limited and not worth £17.50. (Which is what I paid). They add a platter for the whole table which is probably about 2 pieces of meat each with a platter of chips and rice that you have to share in a group. We had ask for more which we were denied and eventually after all the attitude and hassle they said yes. It’s as if you have to hassle with the staff to get a decent service, otherwise you are neglected and left aside. If you want a plate with 2 pieces of meat and shared rice and chips, just save your £17.50 and go somewhere where it will actually be worth it.

Great food, really nice wines, friendly staff memebers & good value for money, don't mistake the cafe to the actual reasturant, the actual restaurant entrance is hidden behind the take away res, it's newly decorated due to fire accident few years ago, small and cosy family place. Sometime they have live music, perfect for family outing, as a family we find Brixton over priced almost reduces, really crowded & over rated. Most Portuguese Res are family orientated and relaxed atmosphere, this one happens to be few mins walk from transport links and hidden from crowed, perfect for us, try them.

Little place with big prices , now even more... I was very surprised when i went there and wonder why the prices were increased actually i asked why...been answered that happens cos it’s more expensive for the restaurant.. As a costumer thats nothing to do with me and special at this times we all are leaving with covid.. special when nothing about the service is changed to the costumer too I have asked for half chicken when i paid £6.50 normally i was getting one full chicken bbq and it comes with chips. shocking i was not asked if i want any sides with it and my thinking was it will come with some sides “chips “ no nothing £6.50 for half chicken only “prices up guys really Not fair or welcome place to be or go honestly This clearly shows how thoughtful people they are increasing prices in a middle of a pandemic i just felt ripped off by a greedy management and won’t be back
