   Been here twice now first time for pick up. Second for delivery... Gave 30 minutes time slot but nice man rang to say would we like it sooner which we were very pleased about... Food arrived piping hot and was delicious.. Large portions and the best Indian around by far.. Lovely delivery driver too.. And also received a bottle of 7up which was and added bonus... Very impressed also with the veggie options.. Are no 1 Indian now..

   Having been very disappointed with all of the other Indian takeaways we had tried on the Wirral, we were hoping to find an excellent offering from Saffron having read the reviews for this establishment; which were excellent on three seperate platforms I am disappointed to say that this evening the food immediately arrived with the bag drenched in grease,. The chicken was chewy and the buna sauce almost inedible. The Bangla fish curry was dry, and certainly not like the fresh white fish offerings I've had served from other established restaurants offering similar on the other side of the water. We left 75% of the food on the plate, which went immediately into the bin. the highlight being the garlic naan, which from a £55 takeaway is a real kick in the teeth. My wife was sick within about 10 mins of deciding to stop eating the food. She is adamant she will not touch another curry takeaway. I just can't understand why the Wirral's array of Indian takeaways despite having fairly decent reviews are unable to offer the excellent standard of takeaway Indian food found in Liverpool and the rest of Merseyside. So disappointing to say the least

   10/10! We were first time at Saffron and definetely not last! Besides some starters and sides which were very very good, we have ordered Malaya and Murgh Chili Masala and they were delicious! Meals are reasonably priced and superb quality. The customer service was excellent.

   Moved to the area nearly 1 year ago and being a lover of Indian food, I found it difficult to find a decent takeaway until I came across this place. The food is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very friendly. I normally opt for the Chicken Jalfrezi and I swear it gets better every time! Would not go anywhere else!!
