   went into the shop for soup and a patty for a relative who was in hospital. non of these items available. i was told these items were not made this day. lady behind the counter offered cornmeal porridge. which I took. the price on the big board behind the till states the large porridge is £3. she charged me £4. When I queried this I was told there was a price increase. normally I would stand ground and only pay the advertised price ( I know my rights. but after a long day in a&e I was too tired. The cornmeal porridge was a very big disappointment. it was very thick and very very lumpy. the lumpiest porridge I have ever tasted. definitely will not be ordering from this shop again

   I purchased Curry goat with plain rice and salad. Extremely tasty. The young lady was very polite and patient with my fussyness. Definately service with a smile. Will definitely be buying lunch there at least once a week. If they got food. Took my five stars back. One day shop closed. Said at 1pm opening in 30mins. So don't rely on them for lunch. Gave them another chance next day. Didnt have food. At 2pm their telling me their just about to put the chicken on. Really!!!

   First visited this shop today, always drive pass and never enter. Initial complication with new food prices where a large meal is now £8 rather than the £7 as advertised. I ordered oxtail, rice and peas which came with steam veg. The food was amazing, great flavour, tasted very fresh. The place was very clean and the staff friendly. I also went back 30 mins later to get Rice and peas, steam veg and plantain with jerk sauce for my wife and she loves it also.

   Live nearby and have tried almost everything on the menu here - I love it. I'd say this is the best food option in the area. Good portion size and value for money. Favourite is the curry goat or classic jerk. Friendly service as well.
