Dining at Khamsa has been an amazing experience. We had the salad platter, fish tagine and the rice pudding. The food was good but the company from the owner was even better. Djamel was very attentive and ensured we enjoyed our experience. Very glad to have found this neighbourhood gem and will be back soon!

Real hidden gem. Was my little Brothers birthday and Really looked after us. The food was some of the best ever had hearty and nourishing all fresh. The salad platter is well worth it although its to share but its so so good easily could have had one each and the bread served with it was tasty . Chicken Spring rolls were to die for never had anything like it so good. The mains we got chicken and lamb tajine and they both were delicious. kept us full for a gig at the 02 academy. Highly 11/10 Reccomend khamsa and big thank you to the chef/waiter running place on his own yet still making us feel looked after and serving the best food not an easy feat

It was my first time trying Algerian food, and Khamsa was an incredible discovery! The food was absolutely amazing, all homemade with such authentic flavours. The bread, with its delicate orange blossom taste, was delightful. We tried different types of tajine (vegetarian, chicken, and lamb kofte), all were delicious along with the mezze platter, which was perfect to share. And the desserts… omg. I definitely recommend this place, I’m literally salivating just thinking about it!

Three of us dined in the lovely setting of Khamsa to enjoy some of the most warming, comforting food we have had in a very long time. Two of the dishes require ordering 24hrs in advance and we are glad we did. The noodles had a unique chewy bite to them unlike anything we had tasted before and the torn bread dish with chicken and a beautiful chickpea broth was so flavoursome, I think this was our favourite. The food here is clearly sourced and cooked with love. Everything on the menu is produced in house so as much as we came out completely stuffed we all agreed that we were stuffed with wholesome goodness. Highly recommended :)

Meticulously executed cross between fine dining and home cooking. Authentic Algerian with a 21st century twist served in lovely Arab platters and bowls. Atmospheric interior with colourful rugs and carpets. Soft North African background music. Very friendly owners. BYOB

This is one of those restaurants that I just know the food was done at its very best. And I say it to only a few restaurants. The salmon main with couscous was amazing. I can taste the good olive oil from the fluffy couscous. Salmon was crispy on the outside, with the ginger added slight spiciness, the sauce and the chickpeas .. all the flavors matched perfectly together, I can never get enough of it. You need to try the rice pudding dessert as well. So unique and tasty. I love rice pudding and this is the best I’ve had. The owner Jay is very a highly talented chef. He learned cooking from his mother, and the dishes are tradition with his personal twist. I just love their food so much. Thank you so much for the incredible experience.

The best North African food we’ve found in London! The host was so lovely and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. We will be booking our next holiday to Algeria soon! I can’t recommend Khamsa highly enough
