Had breakfast at Sofra — the grandma’s egg was rich, the four-cheese pie was warm and flaky, and the Turkish tea completed everything. Cozy, flavorful, and worth returning to.

Average food. Got seated straight away. Staff were pleasant. But they give you hummus and one thin flatbread then charge you for it even though you didn'task for it. Very odd.

Overall was a decent experience. The lamb was lovely and the chicken was ok. The rice was nice. The service was good. They have a hidden service charge which you cannot remove so be warned. They also bring you bread and hummus without asking and then charge you for it. The place itself is spacious with a nice outside area to.

Average food. Unprofessional staff. Was seated immediately and ordered within 5 minutes but waited 60 minutes for the food to arrive. Called different waiters but all went to check and never came back, including the in charge supervisor. Eventually was told that the paper was misplaced by someone. Still charged me for service that I did not receive. Will never dine there again. Better Turkish food for a similar price is available elsewhere.

The hummus was complimentary. I personally prefer it thicker and more aromatic, so I didn't enjoy it that much :) It was more like a dip than traditional hummus. My mum makes it really well, so I guess I'm a bit picky when it comes to hummus :) However, the Turkish tea was really nice and of good quality. I tried the spinach and cheese börek. I honestly have no idea why this is the only type of börek you find in almost every Turkish restaurant in the UK. The taste was okay, not bad, but it could definitely be better. I wish Turkish restaurants offered more traditional starters like su böregi or sigara böregi. They served it with a sweet and sour sauce, which made it feel a bit artificial to me. On the bright side, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the service was excellent. I've heard their kebabs are really good, so I'll definitely try them next time. The rice pudding was 10/10, I absolutely loved it. They used coconut and white almonds, which added a really nice touch. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

I have been here many times with my husband and usually the food used to be very good, but the last time I went the quality wasn't great. Chicken was very dry and they give very little chilli sauce, which means you have to pay extra £4 for the additional sauce. The rice is ok, it used to be much better when it was served Lebanese style with vermicelli. It's still a decent place to eat, but for the price, the quality is simply not there anymore.

Been here a few times with my bf and we both love it here, best Turkish restaurant I have been to in London, I don't understand the negative reviews, I guess people here don't know good food. One of our favourite drinks here is the homemade lemonade, but unfortunately on our last visit they had changed the recipe for the lemonade and it wasny great, was bitter so we had it exchanged for fresh apple juice and orange juice and it was lovely, but the food was still great like usual. Also accommodating gluten intolerant people, they have great variety on the menu. Definitely recommend this place.

The food was ok, and for the price you pay, you expect a better quality. My kabab came very dry, but the rice was good. The fish and chips was ok too. Th lamb tajin with okra was very good. The tables inside very close to each other and it is very crowded. The restrooms are not clean at all.
