I came to the restaurant a couple days ago and I thought all the workers were extremely benevolent, the food was simply exquisite, I even met the owner for a brief second and I was amazed at how polite and humble she was and even hardworking. With the bustling customers entering I could tell there was a lot of pressure but pressure creates diamonds and as such Oakwood Palace delivered. This is the first time I've ever written a review just because I felt this special restaurant should not go unnoticed. An unmatched experience and a place I plan to revisit in the near future.

Not been here for 20 odd years so weren't sure what to expect. 7.15pm booking on a Friday night, and was very surprised that there were only 5 tables taken up. Food was good and their popular and most talked about Spare ribs were as good as I remember them to be all those years ago. The rest of the food we had was average but tasty.

Excellent food and service. The duck was fantastic, I don't have a photo because we devoured it too quickly.

Loved eating here for many years, it's still good. The Oakwood Palace was my favourite Chinese back in the 80's when I was a regular. By chance I was driving past it and hungry, decided to go back in. It's still good; there's an extensive menu (much better than many other similar restaurants) and a pleasant waiter to serve us. Parking wasn't as easy as I remember, but wasn't too difficult. The food was good, although not as as special as I remember (what is though) and the temperature in the restaurant was a but low. However we enjoyed our meal and I look forward to returning should I ever be passing again. Finally, because it might make you smile, not because it's in anyway related to the Oakwood palace. After finishing our Chinese food, my husband and I cracked open our fortune cookies. Mine read, “Be quiet for a little while.” His read, “Talk while you have a chance.”
