   We had an absolutely wonderful and comforting meal at Gurmani. The food was special and had truly distinctive flavours. For starters, the selection of all pkhalis (aubergine, beetroot, carrot, and spinach) was incredibly fresh, seasoned perfectly with ground walnut, coriander, and Georgian spices. The absolute standout starter, however, was the Adjarian Khachapuri—it was so cheesy, served in a 'boat' of the freshest, crispiest bread. For our main courses, we decided to share several dishes: the Chashushuli (stewed beef with tomato), the Ojakhuri (roasted pork with potatoes and vegetables), and the fragrant Chakapuli (lamb stew with fresh tarragon and sour plum cooked in white wine). Each main had a very distinctive and delicious flavour profile. To drink, we explored the fascinating world of Georgian lemonade, a traditional soft drink. We tried the tarragon and pear flavours and definitely preferred the pear! The service was unparalleled, and the ambience was perfect, enhanced by an impeccable background music selection of indie vocal jazz. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.

   If you have never had adjarian khachapuri, have you even lived? The chicken thighs were nice and the mushroom dumplings delicious, but the khachapuri is really the star of the show! Absolutely stunning. It's a decent size and quite heavy, so share between at least two people if you're going for the mains, but honestly as far as I'm concerned it's all you need. I'd come back just for that and have only that. Food was slow to come out but piping hot and fresh when it did, and the service very friendly. I will say that if you're sensitive to noise, make sure to sit outside. The place is very small and the acoustics horrible, so when a very loud group came in it was quite insufferable. But that's the only negative.

   A totally delightful surprise. I have never previously eaten Georgian food, but George was so informative and his mother, Irma is such an outstanding cook, that I had a delightful evening. Between the four of us, we tried a range of starters and main courses. The four mixed starters were so pretty and tasty. How do they make simple chicken taste so delicious? The cheese boat is the ultimate fondue without frustration. The desserts were delicious. The restaurant was spotless as were the toilets. There was easy parking in the evening.

   What a gem! This cute and local Georgian restaurant is serving some seriously good food. The menu is very traditional, service is very friendly and kind and the vibe is very homy and cosy. The wine was also a surprise, really nice orange wine with a decent price. I would recommend the traditional Georgian bread with cheese and egg but also the one with beans was great! The garlic chicken was our preferred and also the honey cake :)

   This was actually my first time trying Georgian food and I have to say it was absolutely fantastic, so much so I went again shortly after to try something different. I would highly recommended the Acharuli Khachapuri and Chefs special, both were absolutely delicious and I would definitely have them again. The restaurant itself is both casual and cosy with simple, clean decor that felt warm and welcoming. The layout gives each table it's own personal space and is lovely for casual lunch or dinner with friends and loved ones. Table service was outstanding, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Excellent recommendations with the option to taste the wine as well. Both times I had a wonderful, relaxing evening. Would highly recommend.

   After reading all the reviews, since discovering this little gem of a place couple of days ago, we paid a visit with a friend of ours, just last night. And I can confirm it is true what other reviews say, it's a lovely, charming place with a great service, delicious food and wine. Jazz music playing in the background and a resident neighborhood cat. We will definitely be back. Soon! Would thoroughly reccomend to visit and try for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

   Beautiful little gem in North London. Close to the Turnpike Lane station. Book in advance as it gets booked out pretty quickly. And for a very good reason. The food here is fantastic. Traditional Georgian food. Filling and flavourful. They have dairy free options too! Friendly and professional staff. The restaurant has been open for just 8 months according to the staff. I wish it was closer to central London.
