   We booked Melange for a private event. Greta managed everything fantastically in the run up to it all. On the day, Greta and the team were patient and organised and dealt with 40 guests of mixed generations so beautifully. The food and wine on the day were all excellent. This of course made the special event a relaxing a happy afternoon! Highly recommend.

   I visited Melange and was thoroughly impressed. The setting is cosy yet stylish, with attentive service that makes you feel welcome without being rushed. The food was excellent the butternut squash risotto full of flavour, the sea bass was perfectly cooked, and the molten chocolate fondant for dessert was a real highlight. Prices are fair for the quality, making it a place I'd happily return to.

   Really lovely spot in Crouch End. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming the moment you walk in – not pretentious at all, just genuinely friendly. The staff were attentive without being over the top, and you can tell they actually care about the experience. The food was excellent – fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with good quality ingredients. Portions were generous without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a casual dinner as it does for a special occasion. Prices felt fair for the quality too. Definitely a gem in Crouch End.

   I visited here with my husband and we were not disappointed. It may have been one of the best Sunday Roasts I've ever had.The Chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection, along with the vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. My husband’s roast beef was extremely good too. Would definitely visit again.

   Exceptional service, attention to nutritional details. A la carte menu and set menu give customers a wide variety of delicious dishes for both meat and veg eaters. Friendly warm environment and polite, courteous, hospitable staff. The ambience is truly welcoming. Thank you for making our little girls birthday memorable.

   Excellent service, friendly staff and absolutely delicious food! In particular the beef bourguignon was extremely delicious (according to my partner who is French!), the wine, starter (arancini) and tarte tatin dessert were also delicious. We will definitely be back! A hidden gem!!

   One of the best brunches I had! Having lived in the area for 4 years I have always walked past this place but never gone in. The interior is larger than it appears from the outside, with a modern decor and a few very comfy armchairs. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We will definitely return and try them for dinner as well.

   The food was delicious, the waiting time was optimal, the staff members were friendly and professional. We loved the vibe of the place and the atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night out. The place was buzzing with people yet it was a relaxed environment with French music in the background which made the place feel even more authentic.

   Had a lovely brunch here, plentiful portions with fresh tasty ingredients coupled with attentive and friendly service. The design of the restaurant was lovely and quaint inside. Price is a notch above average but perfectly worth it.

   The food was of a good quality however the waiting staff's communication skills, etiquette and politeness was unfortunately questionable. At the end of the meal, we were asked if we wanted dessert or the bill, with half a bottle of wine left. We decided not to have dessert, so the bill was left on the table for us, whilst we finished our wine. However another member of waiting staff then approached us, whilst we were drinking wine and talking, and asked if we were just loitering with the bill. We found this extremely rude. It was clear the two members of staff had not communicated with one another or picked up on normal customer social cues. Furthermore at the start of the meal, there seemed to be difficulty with the same member of waiting staff who decided to suggest to my partner that they should put the olives in the middle to share. Despite ordering them as personal starter and a different starter sitting in front of me. It was a strange request and their apology for the miscommunication almost was blamed at us rather than their lack of understanding. Overall we felt uncomfortable, however this was down to one member of staff in particular, and the food was lovely and the price reasonable. We don't feel the behaviour was intentional, however some staff training may be needed to avoid these misunderstandings going forward. Unfortunately we wouldn't visit again based off this experience.
