Typical greasy spoon cafe with huge portions of food, and an alcohol license too! Had the best breakfast there. Really nice coffee as well. Great traditional cafe. Homecooked breakfasts are delicious. Basic menu but speedily delivered and good prices. Friendly, family-owned restaurant. Sandwiches, fry ups, burgers. Generous portions and low prices. I've been coming here for years. Friendly staff. Recommended.

Placed an order for 2 egg mayo salad, 2 chocolate milkshakes and 1 omelette, but received 2 egg mayo sandwiches instead. Which I wasn't aware of until my colleagues collected the order and returned to work. The menu stated that ice cream would be mixed into the ice cream, which it wasn't. The favouring tasted like ice cream syrup and didn't taste very nice at all. When I called to complain about the order being wrong, the owner didn't apologise but instead stated that he only charged for sandwiches. Only given 2 stars as the omelette was lovely but not impressed with the customer service. Which is a shame.
