I went here Monday 22nd December, and everything was amazing. Food was great, vibes were really nice, waiters were really friendly and smiley. Me and others had a good time and enjoyed! Plenty of on street parking as well. Only thing to note for future customers is that cafe is quite small, with around 4 tables. So best to avoid rush hour times i.e. breakfast, 12/1pm etc.

Great experience for a lovely brunch with my little girls! Service was brilliant, the stuff were very kind and accommodating. Food presentation was 10/10 and was great for the price. I Would recommend 100%

I was left disappointed but ultimately not surprised. Paying £13 total for waffles and pancakes out of a packet, over cooked "scrambled eggs" and sausages wasn't my idea of a breakfast. Not to mention the fact I found a hair in my food but thats not shocking seeing how no-one working the stove tops was wearing a hairnet...and yet somehow theres a 5 out of 5 food hygiene rating on the door? The saving grace was the hot chocolate drink and decorative fruits on the pancakes that made up for how dry it was, but you're better off saving your money and going elsewhere.

Really enjoyed this cafe! Everything is Halal here and the staff are extremely friendly. Food was very nice but the actual restaurant itself is quite small and claustrophobic so if you're going with a big group of 6 like we did, expect to have a few issues - but staff were accomodating and after a bit of a wait for the food to come, it was all pretty good

I was pleasantly surprised by the food as it was delicious! Loved the fact everything was halal. Food came quickly and served with a smile. They serve breakfasts all day. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful brunch at the Martil cafe in Croydon. The food was delicious and well presented! Generous portions and reasonably priced. The staff there were very friendly and made it a pleasant quick stop for some lunch! We ordered the Martil’s smash and eggs florentine- absolutely loved trying both!

Kind of a hidden gem if you will. Was looking online and saw reviews of this place and thought, great, a nice halal breakfast place. Gave them a call and they weren't able to do bookings but the staff were lovely and told us to come down and they would make space. I took a group of 6 of us and within a couple of minutes we were seated and given our menus. I must say, staff are really lovely, always smiling, kind, courteous and professional. We ordered our food and although it took a while to come, (only about 15 minutes) it was presented so beautifully that I didn't want to eat it. We all ordered something different and it every meal was delicious and a really good portion as well. The only thing that wasn't as good as I've had elsewhere were the milkshakes. They seems to have a bit too much ice and weren't as thick as I would like, but that is personal preference. Kids really enjoyed it too. There was ample parking available as well. Can't wait to go again.

Update 28/11: paid Martil a second visit today and it did not disappoint! They were jam packed and service was flawless. Honestly so impressed, this is for sure our new favourite spot! —— Amazing! Absolutely delicious - exceeded every expectation in taste, portions and presentation! Very well priced. Excellent service. As a bonus there is free parking. This is a must visit cafe. We visited for breakfast but saw someone’s pasta which looked great. Shall be back for sure!
