   Some of the best Turkish food I have ever eaten! The staff were lovely and so welcoming and again the food was amazing! Would highly recommend, we travel and hour and half for the food and would do journey again! Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful time!

   Just wanted to say what a wonderful relaxed meal we had here on Sunday to celebrate a special family birthday. The staff here are brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. As usual the food was top notch. They are so consistent in their cooking and presentation. The mezze is excellent with a wonderful selection of cold and hot starters followed by wonderful kebabs and lamb chops perfectly spiced and grilled. A great selection of drinks and lively strong coffee and Turkish delight to finish off. This place always scores a 10/10 from us!!

   I’ve been a few times now and love the food every single time! The decor/aesthetic is lovely, the menu choices are vast and there’s always a good amount of diners without it being too overcrowded. The last time I went they had opened up the outside area for Al fresco dining in good weather - nice touch. Food-wise, I’m yet to get past the Guvec. It’s soooo good! I had the Prawn Guvec the first two times I visited and branched out to the Lamb Guvec for my 3rd visit. With bulgar wheat every time. My other half has had the meat grill and my Dad’s had the prawn and salmon shish - and they’ve loved it all. Good portion sizes too. Maybe one day I will try something else other than the Guvec!

   [EDIT] After posting my original review, The Med Kitchen got in touch with me and reimbursed me for the dry cleaning bill and my shorts. In light of this I have increased my rating by one star. Original review: Whilst I enjoyed the food here, I can only rate the Med Kitchen with 2 stars as I had a bad experience overall. When preparing our table for main courses, the waiter dropped a red sauce filled knife on my leg. It didn't hurt but left a patch of sauce on my white shorts. To the waiter’s credit, he did come back with a wet cloth but I did not want to sour the mood with him wiping down my leg as we were sat there as a group trying to celebrate my partner's birthday. I understand that mistakes happen, but they did not offer any sort of discount or compensation towards my dry cleaning bill and if the dry cleaner can't do the job (he couldn't promise me he could fix it, but would only know if he tries), I will have to find these shorts again which may not even be available anymore. Please bear in mind that the food here is already quite expensive for the location (we spent £45 per person including drinks). Should I have kicked up a fuss whilst I was there? Probably. But how many of you reading this would prefer that the restaurant make some sort of gesture of good will, without you having to make a scene? I would bet that all of you would prefer that. So on top of an expensive food bill, I now have a dry cleaning cost to cover. If you plan on visiting this restaurant, I recommend the hot meze and the mussels. I also recommend that you spread the small napkin they provide on your lap.

   Stopped off for lunch while on a walk. Really enjoyed the food. Will definitely return. Update: Returned the following evening with my family and had a three course meal with cocktails. The portions were large and the service polite, fast and friendly. Enjoyed it.

   Our first visit but, definitely not the last……! We had our son's 30th Birthday booked yesterday afternoon. We arrived to an early afternoon sitting (our choice) to find the restaurant buzzing with enjoyment of other guests eating their food. The food was absolutely amazing, served very courteously, and hot. The staff were very attentive and very smart. Could not fault one thing about our experience visiting this restaurant. This restaurant is truly run very well by management and staff. Well done to you all. See you again from Essex very soon……!

   Great portions and amazing food! Fairly priced; each dish is around £15-20 and the portion is large. Service was good and the restaurant had a nice ambience, 10/10 would recommend. If you are ordering a lot of dishes, be prepared for a bit of a wait though!
