   My colleagues and I were messed about by another restaurant for Christmas dinner. Found Sangria as it was within walking distance of East Croydon and a good meeting spot. The food was amazing and the service went above and beyond. We had an amazing evening here and would highly recommend so thank you to all the staff

   Stumbled across this restaurant and have to say its a hidden gem. The service was 10/10 and the food was amazing. I had one of their signature lamb curry's which was recommended by the manager and it didn't fail. Will definitely be back.

   I have ordered food from Sangri before and never had any issues but felt compelled to share my experiences due to the lack of customer service. I ordered a takeaway last night for myself and other guests. When the food arrived I was appalled by the portions as were small. I think what’s worse when I rang the restaurant to complain they blamed Deliveroo for their shortcomings. I was disappointed by the lack of customer service and was left without enough food for all of us.

   I found the food to be mediocre and bland. My drinks were warm and I need to request to add an ice for both of my drinks. The service was ok and the only I like is the heart design on my plate.

   Poor quality food. Ordered two curry dishes and could not taste any real difference between them, very bland. The veg in both the curry dishes were clearly frozen supermarket veg containing broccoli, baby carrots and brussel sprouts, not typical or authentic. Potatoes in another dish were microwaved and unappealing.

   Good food, wine and service. When I asked if there was ghee in the food the waiter said they can make it without if I asked and he checked when I ordered that the food I wanted wouldn't have dairy. Will be coming back again

   Let me start off by saying that the location is in the heart of Croydon, that’s right, high street! This was my second time going to this restaurant and I have to say that both times I was overwhelmed with the high level of hospitality and the overall quality of each dish that I ordered. I had the biryani the first time and it was very nice. The chicken jalfrezi was superb! I had mine with keema naan and it had the perfect level of spice as the restaurant owner kindly asked the chef to put in a hint of the naga chilli for my benefit. The staff are attentive and show a good sense of urgency for each one of their guests. Prices are fair as this is an upscale restaurant so no complains there. If you don’t believe my words maybe my pictures will help in regards to the high level of quality of the food I had. Now that I have mentioned the staff and the food, now let me move on to the superb décor that Sangri has! The lighting is modern and attractive with beautiful velvet curtains near the end of the restaurant given it as gothic red look as it moves with air flow. Will I be back? Yes! It is now my regular curry house! Looking at negative reviews confused me as I rarely see anyone complain here, but I guess some people you just cannot please. The owner himself will personally greet you and attend to each one of your needs. Thank you Sangri ! Keep up the good work!
