   Good place to go to relax. The staff are all friendly, they make you feel like you're at home and the food is always on point. The lighting makes the atmosphere at night very good, not too bright with lots of fairy lights. I find a lot of places these days are too bright and clinical, not here though.

   Went with work mates for the pub quiz. Food was ok albeit very greasy. Friend had wrong order delivered but noone ever came to ask how we were of if food was ok. The quiz on the other had was a great laugh. Worth going back for the beer and quiz but food not so.much

   My Husband and I regularly squeeze in a meal on a Friday before we pick up our little girl from nursery and it is always perfect. Food is great, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The lighter bites menu is a steal too. We also come here as a family and never had a bad visit, see you guys again soon

   Another pleasant visit yesterday. Food and service excellent as always. Visited here a few times and the food is always delicious, whatever I’ve ordered. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I love the chilled vibes which is why I keep coming back.

   Dropped in here this afternoon for a quick pint at the end of our walk. Service was quick with no waiting and staff were pleasant and helpful. Plenty of seating available. Reasonable selection of beers, but unfortunately they had only one real ale. Will have to return to try out the food. Seems like a nice quiet pub. Returned to try out the food. Ordered steak and cheese baguette with soup. Service was reasonably fast and it was a very nice lunch. Would recommend it.

   Very poor plates of food today. Chicken and chips in a basket consisting of 2 pieces of chicken at the cost of £12 My partner ordered a panini and fries that looked incredibly poor value for £8. The service was efficient and friendly but 2 hours later I was starving.

   Booked through the website and travelled specially for Sunday lunch only to be told on arrival that roasts are not available due to continued equipment problems. Then informed about the lack of starters we requested. On arrival both “simple”main meals were very unspectacular and rather disappointing quality especially after reading the reviews prior to booking. Even the easy 2 drink order was Wrong. Provided with desert menu and gave up waiting after 45 minutes to order - would hate to try when the pub was full … It seems a shame that in these times when a meal out is a treat that we have been let down and disappointed. I certainly will not be recommending this pub to family and friends.

   We had my mum's funeral there yesterday. The buffet food they surplied was amazing. It was all freshly cooked and lots of it. Great value for money and the staff were amazing. I would highly recommend this place

   Excellent food and a lovely place to visit. Plenty of parking spaces inc. at least 4 electric recharging points . Best to ring up before setting off, especially during lunchtimes Mon-Fri, as it is a popular venue for funeral wakes and it can be fully booked.

   We went for an early tea. Staff really friendly. Food was good. Got quite busy while we were there. If you want food that's not too highbrow but quality pop in and try the Bassett hound.
