Everything you want a fish and chips spot to be. Chips are handmade and delicious, the fish was cooked great, and everything was delicious. Small indoor area to eat.
Excellent fish and chips although they were a little greasy. Fish was fresh and tasted of genuine cod. Especially worth to enjoy the wonderful view from Parkgate across the estuary to the Welsh mountains.
Really poor. Has always been really good but not sure if it’s changed owners but the gravy was beige with no taste, chips were mushy and tasteless and the sausages were raw. Really disappointing considering their high prices.
We finished walking from West Kirby, so we decided to have a late lunch. Cod & Chips had my name on it, and even on an atypical blazing hot day, this tasted very good. The portion size is smaller than I'd expected for the price, but still very filling. The fish was deliciously flakey with thin and crispy batter, The chips were cooked well, covered with curry sauce. A great way to finish a walk.

Superb freshly cooked fish with the lightest crispy batter and excellent chips. Eaten on one of the benches outside the shop overlooking the estuary. We will be back. Highly recommended and the village is really interesting to look round. We'd enjoyed a TV programme about it before our visit

Impromptu visit today, the fish I am told was tasty, the fishcake tasted good and the curry sauce was spot on. The portions sizes where good and the staff friendly. We sat inside to eat, had it been seagull free outside I might have braved it... I was determined to enjoy my food. Well worth a visit, parkgate is lovely. Amazing Crystal shop, nice coffee house, good pubs and the best ice cream around.
Really lovely little chippy! After a great day walking there's nothing better then some food from the park gate chippy, amazing views of the sunset! Brilliant staff and the building is just as fun and unique, loads of variety in the menu and fair prices! They have indoor seating as well as kids options and smaller portions, as well as take away options!
