   Wasn't going to write a review but since Google asked me for one. Here it is. Service was outstanding, the guys there are so attentive but restaurant was empty apart from 2 - 3 tables right in the window to make it 'look busy' Food was really good, lots of choice and we all enjoyed our meals... However that's where that ended. An hour or so after leaving the restaurant, none of us felt particularly well, bloated and most of the party ended up feeling unwell/having bowel 'issues' through the night/following day. If it was just one person I'd put it down to chance, but we all shared starters but had diff mains. Not sure our curry club will be in a hurry to revisit after this.

   I've never been compelled to write a review before, but this place deserves one. I've never had so much meat in a curry before, fantastic value. Great taste. 3 onion bajhi, instead of the usual 2. Best curry I've had. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as it's early , so a bit quiet.

   Ths food was nice average portions, enough for me but not for hubby! Waiters were lovely. Thought it was expensive for what we had.

   Good food but no consideration for ALL customers. If you're looking for a romantic meal for two, forget it! They continue serving alcohol to huge parties who have clearly had enough - truly unpleasant and obnoxious atmosphere with foul language being screamed across tables. I saw other couples walking out of the restaurant in utter disgust after 5 minutes. Also, the service was beyond bad, we were glad to escape before a fight kicked off. To top it off, they tried to overcharge us for drinks. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

   There are no two ways about how to describe Barton Rouge, it is excellent. Upon entering one senses a buzz of happy diners enjoying themselves. There is a good range of menu options and the food is delicious. On a busy Saturday night they would have benefited from a few additional staff, however the waiters worked tirelessly in keeping in touch and providing excellent service. It is comfortable, clean, and without doubt a return-to restaurant.
