Disappointed that i spent almost £50 and they can't even throw in a bag of prawn crackers. The bag of chips was the smallest portion ever. And the crispy shredded chicken was big fat strips of chicken that weren't very nice. Didn't really enjoy any of it, best part about it was the seaweed.
Had spring rolls, crab meat soup & a noodle box. Very yummy, delicious spring rolls. Would definitely get this again
Welcome takeaway is my families favourite takeaway, the people there make us feel welcome just as the name suggests. The food is lovely every-time without a fail, especially the pork fried dumplings! Unfortunately we are moving soon but we will always remember welcome takeaway as a delicacy and a thing that brought us all together in our toughest times! Having left the below excellent review previously I'm now left disappointed. The food is still excellent however the last 4 times we have gone to order on delivery we have found them to be closed early, not as advertised or as usual. Frustrating as cannot now rely on them. Will have to start looking at competitors when we have been very very loyal until now. Delicious food every time we order, particularly love the black bean dishes and the jumbo prawn rolls! The staff are very friendly on phone or when we have gone in. Very quick for collection and great delivery times and lovely drivers also. Definitely our go to Chinese in Heswall!

Received my order on time. Delivery with a smile and friendly chat. Wish could say the same for the food. Sumai was tasteless. Thank god for soysauce. Ribs were dry and stringy . Syrup no existent , sorry in the wrapper. Chicken curry was tasteless, not hot in heat and sauce congealed . £23 down the drain but the bin ate well
The worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Veg spring rolls tasted like they were made a year ago, sweet and sour chicken was in a sauce that tasted like bubble bath and the beef in Cantonese sauce was the worst meal I've ever had the misfortune to eat. Even the chips were stale. STAY AWAY FROM HERE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY.
My family came to visit me as they were driving through town and we decided to come and try this place! We thought the service was kinda slow and they weren't that busy but we got the vibe they the waiter was just giving us a lot of time to talk and stuff. I got the ribeye which was super gooodd and tender. My mom got the fried shrimp and she also liked it. Overall a solid choice for dinner
