Mevlutt an Yusuf amazing people, Ma Sha Allah, amazing food, amazing hospitality, me and my brother Sez loves this, will recommend!
We went on a Sunday evening. Initially empty but soon other customers joined us. I was sceptical when the starter arrived which was stuffed aubergine. It looked soggy and appeared to be microwave cooked. It tasted very average. The free bread provided was however excellent and freshly baked. The salads then arrived and again they were of questionable quality and needed seasoning. The main however was a sharing grill for two and it wasn’t just enormous, it was also superbly cooked meat. We loved it. Service was quick and warm. We enjoyed the meal and might potentially return someday but would probably just choose a dip for starter instead. The price was very good at about £35 a head with tip. Women’s toilet had no light which was a bit frustrating but gents was fine. We took a large box of leftover grilled meat home with us and will enjoy for lunch.
I just ordered a chicken dish but received 4 great complimentary dishes. There was some fresh bread, caramelized onions, spiced sliced onions and a huge salad. The chicken was nicely grilled and served in a yogurt sauce with aubergine. It was a great combination!
Ordered the N2 mixed grill. A great selection and flavoursome all around except for the rice, which was served plain and could benefit from butter/stock/seasoning. Really the lamb ribs and chops. Service was good and the staff there are friendly. Prices were very reasonable, coming to roughly 20 per head.
Amazing restaurant! The food was delicious, the service attentive and considerate. We had a delicious meze to start followed by kebabs and salad. Had to take quite a bit home as we were so full. A small restaurant, the staff were extremely helpful. Highly recommend.
The food was really nice but the atmosphere was funny and heated at some point due to a couple arguing
Great meat platter, the flavour from the grill on that meat was absolutely amazing. The sides were solid.
A very enjoyable experience. This doesn't have the footfall that the other heavyweights in nearby Dalston can rey on so it's really appreciated that they do make the extra effort. The meal was a typical Turkish Shish dish but it was the accompanying sides that gets this place 5*. The salad could be meal in itself plus wonderful onion dishes in complimentary sauces...plus a side of hummus..ALL included within the price. If you are this end of Stoke Newington, why not treat yourself ?
Absolutely amazing place. Incredible sides, meat is so tender and tasty and bread is insanely good. Absolutely love it
