Great experience. We had the Christmas set lunch menu and the quality of food was amazing. The main food options that we had, full Xmas dinner and steak were both beautiful, the meat tender and succulent. We came to celebrate my mother’s 100th birthday and we were met with such kindness, on top of the usual exemplary service. They truly made an already incredible day even more special, singing to her and bringing her dessert out with a candle to blow out too.
We went here yesterday for my hubby’s birthday. The food was superb, the atmosphere was great and the staff were attentive and very friendly. It is so popular, make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment. So much choice in food, no one should be disappointed. We had the black pasta starter with seafood. It was delicious, followed by skate, capers etc carrots, broccoli and fries. The skate was cooked to perfection and was very filling. The rum and raisin icecream went down a treat, a favourite of my hubby. We can’t wait to return!
This place ticks all the boxes. We wanted somewhere for a special occasion that provided great food, great service in a wonderful setting. Prima Donnas did not disappoint. Aside from the generous portions of delicious food, the service is excellent with all the staff so welcoming and friendly. It’s got a very traditional feel in a relaxed environment. We ordered off the a la carte, but they also do a set lunch menu with a good choice of dishes. It knows what it is, providing great food, great service in a great setting at great prices. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Enjoyed an immensely delectable dinner here whilst visiting family who live nearby and are regular customers. The menu was full of so many delicious choices, it was hard to choose. All of our food was hot (temperature) and flavorsome. Everything was great value too. The thing that makes this restaurant special however are the staff. They are so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend, just wish we had something as good near us.
Went for dinner with a friend. Had the set menu which was lovely. I had cornfit duck cooked to perfection with sweet potato and a side of vegetables. Really nice. I had mango sorbet for dessert which was equally nice. Good location and ready parking too.
Visited with the family after a number of years absent and we were so glad we went back here. The staff are attentive and friendly, made the kids feel comfortable and adjusted any menu items when we needed to. The veal escalope was cooked very well for my main course and tasted lovely. The family fed and the piano player and singer rounded off a nice evening. Will not be leaving it as long as we did till the next time.
A really lovely meal, our pasta was delicious and they have A great children’s menu our son had steak and it was a healthy portion. Meal finished off with crème brûlée. Staff lovely and friendly
We had a lovely sunday lunch here. Food is delicious and although I wasn’t prepared for a full meal, I just couldn’t stop eating it. Starters, mains were very filling. If you plan to go for Sunday lunch, take your time to enjoy and savour each dish as it comes. Amazing customer service. Hope to visit again soon.
Birthday lunch for my mum's 75th today. Haven't been here for a few years so was pleased to find that it was still just as good. Food was absolutely outstanding and so were all the staff especially the head waiter who served us. The banter he had made our visit even more enjoyable. We all had a really fabulous time and will definitely be going back very soon.
