Great customer service over the phone. We has a delivery which come earlier than originally told which was of course a bonus! The food was absolutely beautiful especially the red thai curry, beautiful space and packed full of flavours! Well definitely be regulars going forwards. It beats the everyday takeaways. First time trying this place, and I have to say, I’m impressed! I went with dishes that felt like a safe bet. I read the reviews and thought, if the Pad Thai- Chicken, isn’t great, I probably won’t come back again, like i do with the chinese restaurants around here.. But I have to say the flavors were surprisingly spot on! The only minor disappointment was that the Pad Thai didn’t come with a lemon or lime on the side to really make the flavors pop. Luckily, I had some at home, and oh gosh, it was absolutely banging! Loved, loved, loved it. Perfect flavors, fresh ingredients, chicken cooked just right, and it arrived still warm in under 35 minutes. What more can you ask for? I also ordered the red coconut chicken curry. The flavors were on point, just a bit too spicy for me personally. I wish I could dial the chili down slightly, but that’s just being picky. Still amazing. The prawns, however, were slightly overcooked. It didn’t affect my overall rating because I understand restaurants don’t want to undercook them. If they trusted the process a bit more and let the prawns finish cooking in the sauce, they’d be perfect, but this is minor and easily remedied with a tried and time tested test market strategy. My wife had the sweet and sour chicken and loved it. She also tried the mixed entrée, which was lovely. The rice on the side was great. The only real issue was the peanut sauce for the satay chicken, it was pasty rather than saucy and didn’t taste quite right. Still, these are minor points and don’t take away from the overall experience. Honestly, this is the best Thai I’ve had in England since moving from Australia. I’m thrilled to have a great place to keep coming back to. I’ll keep trying different dishes and sharing my experiences, but for now, 10/10 from me! Just ordered here as we saw good reviews and were in a rush for a gig and wow did they deliver. Great vegetarian options and we all agree that it was the best Thai we have ever had and super fast service and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Fantastic Thai takeaway! We were staying in the area for a few days and were so glad we ordered food from Thai Delight on one of the evenings.
Quick delivery, poor value, food tasted awful, really sweet and drenched in oil, put it into the bin. Definitely pre-packed from a factory.
A friend of ours suggested Thai Delight for a carry-out night. And their suggestion was perfect. The food was amazing, flavorful with just the right spice. We had green curry, red curry, spring rolls, fish cake and coconut flavored rice. The fish cakes were the best we have had in the UK. Best in Buxton. !!
Absolutely excellent takeaways delivered. The most authentic Thai food in the UK so far. Just lovely food over a wide range of dishes.
Had the thai green curry with veg which wasn't too spicy with coconut rice and had battered king prawn stir fry with chips. Had prawn crackers and fish cakes for starters which were delicious. Portions were large which was great. Could have a wider drinks range maybe some authentic drinks.
