   Came for a Christmas work party. We waited around 30 minutes before being able to order a drink. We did not get our main meal until 7:50 even though we were there at 6. When we asked where our food was (our party was split across 3 tables and everyone had recieved their food accept us) we were told it was because we were late. We were not late We were one of the first few there They didn't take orders until well after our whole party was there. Then they said it was because another table in our party had taken our food. This implied our food had been stolen when in reality they had either forgotten about us or had made a genuine mistake. Then my friend found something white and hard in her food, she let a member of staff know, their response was not adequate. Then we received our bill and a £40 service charge was on there. The menu specified it was optional so we said we did not wish to pay that as we had received poor service. After paying our bill we were finishing our drinks when the manager came and tried to kick our table out (just ours, not the rest of our booking) he said it was a 2 hour booking and it had been over 2 hours and people were waiting (we did not know it was a timed booking). We said that we were not finished and that if it was a 2 hour booking they should not have taken almost 2 hours to serve our food. The manager argued that it had nor taken that long. We said we did not recieve our food till 7:50 and that we would leave when we were finished. He left then came back and asked my friend what point was she trying to make. She said she was not making a point she was simply finishing what she paid for and that it was not her fault that the service had been how it had been. He said he knew the service had been great but they had tried their best as they were busy. In summary this place should not take on so many big bookings at once if it cannot uphold it. We were squished onto tables not suitable for the size of group. They took no accountability for their poor service and tried to put the blame back on us. At times they felt confrontational. They did not give any compensation as they said "we do not do that here" even though the service we recieved was not up to standard. If you cannot give a good level of service then do not accept so many bookings all at once.

   Took my son for his birthday on monday and had the best experience-from being greeted warmly at the door,to being seated and beyond. The food was fabulous. It was so good to experience good old fashioned hospitality- it was great and will definetely put this place back on my list. Thank you!

   highly recommend the Q bar and kitchen.The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I'm a new customer to Q bar and Kitchen and I have to say I was very impressed with the level of service. The attention to detail is at a very high standard, I appreciate the care that was taken with our my order's, we will definitely be back.

   We often choose this restaurant for it’s quite warm atmosphere and their taste meals !when we visited the staff tried to accommodate us in the best way they could as they were already nearly fully booked. Most of the things we ordered were nice except of the shrimp dish that tasted horrible and the food seemed to have a taste as if the shrimps were not good. We had to return the dish back and they didn’t charge us for it but I was very disappointed with what happened as you can easily get sick if you eat seafood that is either off (the way it tasted) or not well cooked !!plus they didn’t really care for the complaint I instantly made for that particular order. I felt as a customer they didn’t really give the proper attention to that matter because they ve been busy which is not really nice for a regular customer!

   Been here a few times now. The first time by accident, I was in the area and fancied some breakfast and this place caught my eye. The second and third time, definitely on purpose! The third time, I took family & friends with me - it’s THAT good. I’ve had the Full English a couple of times and the All American Pancakes the last time - everything has been great. Good portions, tasty food, good coffee and quick/friendly customer service. The whole menu sounds great so I definitely plan to be a regular visitor, I need to work my way through it all!

   I love coming to this place. They have done it up so lovely for the festive season. We had a business meeting brunch and had privacy on our selected table. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is always delicious.

   Have been on two occasions both a dinner and now a breakfast. Both times you receive a warm and friendly welcome. The options for breakfast were superb, from a full roast or an alternative healthier option, then pancakes and more! Certainly something for all tastebuds. The decor is relaxed, cosy and inviting. Will certainly be back.
