Been ordering here for a few years, love the food but the takeaway service is (and has always been) awful. I started ordering as early as possible to avoid the crazy wait time, but regardless of day of the week and what time you order, always the same outcome. The takeaway takes at least 90 mins if you’re lucky, and you have to phone multiple times to get a vague update and no apology. Unfortunately lost a customer in me. One time too many, clearly not bothered in retaining customers

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but it seems the owner hasn’t taken on board previous feedback about the quality of the food or the speed of delivery. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and found it extremely disappointing. The chicken hadn’t been barbecued at all, and the sauce was an unnaturally bright red and overwhelmingly flavoured with coconut, which made it heavy and claggy. A proper tikka masala should be creamy, balanced, and orange in colour - not sweet and fluorescent. I appreciate regional differences, but this version really missed the mark. It simply wasn’t nice to eat. At all. What’s frustrating is that the restaurant advertises itself as an Indian restaurant, yet when customers criticise the food, the owner repeatedly deflects by saying that the chef is Bangladeshi and “has been cooking this way for 14 years.” That’s not an explanation, and it certainly doesn’t justify poor quality. Authentic Bangladeshi food can be wonderful, but this isn’t it - and using that as an excuse feels disingenuous. A good curry should never taste dominated by coconut or look unnaturally red; that usually suggests cheap food colouring and corner-cutting. As for delivery, I had to chase it and still waited an hour, despite being told it would arrive within thirty minutes - and I don’t live far away at all. I’d avoid this place - there are far better restaurants nearby. A real shame.

100% disappointed in every level. No manners, rude staff, bland food. Total regret. I usually don’t give negative reviews. First time for everything. Don’t ever order Butter chicken from here. It’s made out of coconut milk and even butter chicken in M&S has better flavor and color.

Ordered online, I called after a 1.5 hour wait and was told 15 minutes. 2.5 hours later and we still have no food and no idea what is happening. The phone lines are now off. EDIT: 3 hours later and one more phone call, I was told the driver would be at my door in 5 minutes, that was 15 minutes ago. EDIT: 3 hours and 20 minutes. The driver called asking if I actually still wanted the order because it's quite late... But they won't refund me. EDIT: The food arrives. But I'm going to bed. I can only assume this is a scam restaurant, taking orders it can't fulfil.

We had a wonderful meal last night. The food quality was exceptional. Service was very good, very polite. Very good value & lovely clean environment. Only thing missing was a bit of background music maybe… but I would recommend 100%!

Food is good...but you might not be in the mood for it when it eventually arrives. We have ordered regularly in the past, really like the food here and would recommend it BUT... delivery wait times have on several occasions simply been unacceptable, especially recently. And I'm not being fussy here, we're talking over 2 hours from ordering before it turns up on more than one occasion. Nor does the restaurant do a good job of managing expectations. When we've phoned to check if the food is coming we've been told it will be with us in 20 mins only to wait for another hour. By way of compensation they offered a discount which is available when ordering through their website anyway so despite liking the food we probably won't be using them again.

Ordered from here a couple of times (months apart), despite delivering within a mile had to wait over an hour for delivery, the second time it was over 2 hours! When we called to see what was going on we could hear them apologising to another customer for late delivery too, so delivery issues are obviously a bit of a theme. Don't really appreciate getting fobbed off when you call to chase up either. Nightmare.

Food is quite good but the restaurant can’t seem to deal with the deliveries it accepts. I was recommend to try In2papadum but over the past two order placed, both took an hour and a half to arrive and I have had to call the restaurant twice now, the second occasion they didn’t even make it after accepting the order via Uber eats. Not good enough, will not be ordering with them again unfortunately.
