The quality and taste of the food was brilliant. Service was great and the atmosphere was magical. Loved it and I would recommend it to my family and friends.
Great food as always. Place is kept very clean and staff are super helpful. Kobeda is my usual choice however this time I went for the lamb shank as well which was 10/10.
I visited Elaf in Blackburn with friends in January, and it was an amazing experience overall! Most of the food was delicious, with rich, authentic Turkish flavors, and the service and atmosphere were excellent. However, the Chicken Al Faham was a bit disappointing in both taste and portion size. Aside from that, everything else was spot on. Definitely worth a visit
Been here a few times to eat now, the food is amazing everything so full of flavour and taste. The seating area is good, may feel cramped at busy times but the service is still on point and the food is always above standards. Very good decent size portions and the prices are decent also. Mix kebabs are my favourite and the drinks, good selection available and worth the money. Family platter is also very good to have here, nicely presented and plenty of flavour. Definitely recommend eating in here, they do deliveries but best to go in and eat fresh off the grill. Excellent place amazing food, friendly staff.
Food was amazing, we had a grand platter that was such a delight fed 5 of us till we were about to burst. It was delicious, meat was succulent and it is presented beautifully with so many great options. Highly recommended. Seating is quite cramped and cosy but the food is worth it.
Lovely restaurant in blackburn with very tasty food. Only major negative, which is the reason for taking off one star, is they do not accept cards all the time (i have been twice and the first time despite having a sign which said cash only, they said they accepted card, and the second time i assumed would be the same, but was actually cash only, and it wasnt because the machine wasnt working, apparently they have certain days whoch are cash only, but seems a bit random from a decent restaurant to not accept card). However, the food is absolutely spot on, i really enjoyed the kobedas and the qabli qulau, they make you understand what "succulent" juicy meat is. The naans are fresh and lovely. And the sauces also really add to the meal. Overall very impressed. We tried both the kanafe and the baclava, i have to say i didnt enjoy the kanafe as much as i have in other places, but maybe that is just my taste, but i really enjoyed the baclava. Plenty parking around the streets nearby, withing a few seconds walk. Overall, will definitely be coming again, but will clarify beforehand if they accept card on that day or not.
Service was nice. Polite and friendly.. But the meals was disappointing. Not a proper traditional Turkish, slightly over cooked and the chops were very small, one didn't have any meat on it. We tried to find a decent place to eat.. Out of all the places these guys seem to be the best out of the worst bunch. Waiting time did take long, and usual turkish restaurants they give some sides while you wait. But here nothing. Overall seating isn't too bad, food is ok, reasonably priced.
Recommended by a friend for this place. And needless to say, a wonderful experience. Everything was freshly made and served well. Dessert and then tea in the end were wow too. Would definitely recommend visiting when in Blackburn.
I have heard many great things about this place and finally had the opportunity to give it a try. What can I say it did not fail to disappoint us. Food was delicious and presented well. If you like and enjoy Turkish/Middle Eastern food, you will love this place. Hope to see you again soon.
