The big breakfast was delicious, tables were clean and everything was cooked perfectly. Also, a staff member called Oznur was really helpful when explaining what the breakfast contained, and allowed me to personalise it to fit my preferences

I brought my friends out for a birthday lunch of fish and chips! The fish was highly disappointing - there was very little fish between the batter! We could actually lift fish up to the light to see the portion of fish within. I complained to the manager who explained the changes regarding the weighed quantity per person, which is shocking. We were offered a replacement for the worst portion. For the money charged it's disgusting. On a positive note all the staff showed very good customer service - they couldn't apologise enough. My total bill was £42 with with hot drinks. We won't be back!

Visited The Restaurant Hub before shopping at Sainsbury’s. Staff were chatting when we arrived, then disappeared as we reached the tills—waited several minutes before anyone appeared. Service felt rushed and unprofessional, even though the place was nearly empty. Breakfast was decent and arrived quickly, but our coffees were forgotten and served only after we’d finished eating—mostly milk, barely any coffee. The restaurant was generally clean, parking was easy, and prices were fair (£17 for two breakfasts and two coffees). It’s a shame, because the food itself was decent and the place has potential if the staff were more attentive. Sadly, my first visit left a poor impression, and I wouldn’t return.

After ordering my food, I couldn't eat it as there was no cutlery of any kind. After asking several staff members for cutlery I was eventually told there would be some in 5 minutes. So nearly 15 minutes in total. The girl I was speaking to just kept saying it's not her fault. When I said my food would be cold by the time cutlery arrives she flipped out and started raising her voice saying I was disrespecting her. She angrily said I was being rude for trying to ask why there's no cutlery for a restaurant thats less than 50% full. I asked to speak to the manager multiple times, she at first ignored me and then ran away. Of course she didn't get the manager so I had to find the manager myself, who couldn't care less about anything I had to say. Didn't even bother speaking to the girl in question. Amongst the worst customer service I've ever experienced, trying to blame customers for their own ineptitude to avoid taking responsibility for anything. Horrible, will never go back. And after a further 10 minutes, there was still no cutlery.

Specifically a review of Slim Chickens. Thought the chicken was decent, the tenders more so than the wings. Definitely a step above the local south London chicken shops. The fries were nice too. It's more affordable if you get things separately instead of the meal deal however this led to things coming out separately. The actual dining area is still a bit depressing but it's a cafe in Sainsbury's what do you expect, general level of cleanliness was good and I liked the ketchup dispensing unit - efficient! Would go again!

After a 30 minute wait the breakfast came out cold. The eggs were icy. We asked for hot food and 25 minutes later without the food arriving we gave up and got a refund. It shouldn’t take close to a hour in a mostly empty cafe to get two easily made breakfasts. It seemed all the staff (except for one middle aged women) were doing a ‘go slow’ work protest. Lots of people were complaining and walking out.

I used to be a regular visitor at the sainsburys cafe, whilst studying it was a shame it closed down, staff was always friendly and very helpful. I cannot believe how much nicer this new Restaurant Hub is! It’s been open for a week now and visiting there on Friday was such a Memorable Experience. I am visually impaired and suffer with anxiety at times, but this new hub is so well thought together, with bright colours a really chilled atmosphere and a Great selection of food from Breakfasts to lunches hot drinks to shakes. My Server Valentine went out and above his way to assist me and when asked How he likes working for the hub, there was a genuine happy feeling and a huge smile. For this reason I will return because the staff are definitely a happy and professional team. Well Done to the manager for his strong and selective workforce, and also for his regular appearance on the restaurant floor, greeting and talking to customers like me and getting hands on just like his strong staff members. This will now be my Go to, Congratulations on your opening Xx

Too early to give a critical review, they only opened a week ago. Some basic operational mistakes that will hopefully get ironed out soon. It will be interesting to see if they can sustain the amount of labour I saw on Saturday. It may have been heavily staffed for training. I will return in a couple weeks with a full review. Oh, yes, I did sample their food on both times I visited.
