   We had a lovely afternoon at Isabelle’s having afternoon tea. They accommodated us with a same day booking (should be at least 24 hours) & we got all of the afternoon tea menu. Thank you for whipping up a batch of meringues, they were delicious and very much appreciated.

   The #NO.1 place in Heswall and surrounding area if you’re looking for a casual coffee and freshly made food. Parking round the back, super friendly service and well priced. Isabelle’s and its owners are part of the heswall community and loved by all. #BESTOFTHEBEST

   It was my first time visiting this place last weekend on a very sunny afternoon. On arrival we found a table and sat down. A staff member cleaned our table and presented us with the menus. I was only after a nice Latte and I also chose scones with butter, jam and clotted cream. The order arrived quickly. The latte was very nice and the temperature was just right! As you will see in the picture there were 2 small scones and pots of cream/jam/butter. The scones where warm and also homemade which is a big plus ➕️ in my book. The scones and accompanying jam/cream/butter where very nice. But I do have a Bit of a niggle. The scones where just too small! I would prefer one big scone or even too slightly larger ones. One other thing I would say is that the interior of the eatery is very drab and boring. A light grey all over with a couple of mirrors and a couple of chandeliers, It really needs some life breathing into it.

   Fantastic afternoon tea. Had a voucher for Christmas for luxury afternoon tea. Sandwiches really fresh with delicious ingredients. Nice fillings choices. Different as no cake as such. A cream filled meringue with hot toffee sauce and a piece of tiffin and a scone each. Very tasty and different

   Isabelle’s tea and cake shop is a lovely cafe for breakfast, brunch, lunch and cakes! Staff are really friendly, reasonably priced and lovely decor inside. You can park just up the road in Tescos or sometimes just across the road when there is a space.

   My family are local so go in here regularly but now living in London my visits are less frequent. Always amazing though. I recently went in for afternoon tea on the eve of my wedding with my mum and best friend. The atmosphere was perfect, the cakes and sandwiches were incredible and it really started off our celebrations towards the big day and was much needed quality girl time together. Thank you so much!

   Been here several times whilst shopping in Heswall. Really lovely friendly atmosphere staff very warm, pleasant and polite. Never been disappointed with whatever we have ordered, especially their scrambled egg on toast.
