A friendly and busy neighbourhood restaurant. We went to check out their Sunday roast. The place has 4 outside tables if you want to brave the weather. They also have wheelchair access to the inside and seating space for disabled. The place is friendly, clean and has a cool feature wall with 100s of wine bottles. Sunday roast is good, however i recommend the beef, the chicken for me was questionable. Drinks menu is also good and they have some reasonably priced lemonades in case you dont drink alcohol. The place accepts both card and cash payments. Reservations recommended on sundays.

Some friends said it was one of the best roasts in London and the hype was real. Me and my partner ordered the pork belly and the beef one. The amount was generous, the veggies were good, specially the roasted potatoes. The beef was super tender, flavourful and good amount. The pork belly was super crispy, but the meat itself also was soft and melted in your mouth. They usually give a small piece for pork belly but this one was big too. Amazing roast and one of the best ones I've had!!

Excellent service, food, and staff. I’m proud to be local to this gem. I often enjoy calm solo dinners here since it’s just around the corner. They are truly different from any other modern European restaurant. Their menu is great and changes from time to time, but it never disappoints. I especially get excited when they include more seafood, as their chef really knows what they’re doing. Their steak is almost legendary — my neighbors and I always talk about how they make the best steak. Recently, I tried their cauliflower dish as my main (trying to cut back on meat), and oh my word... the flavors, the sauce — you MUST try it. Also if you can , finish your dinner with their chocolate pudding… just saying.

Finally went to Palmers Restaurant after living around the corner for almost two years and kicking myself I didn’t go sooner. Ordered the prawns and sirloin steak and the prawns were delicious, whole prawns, plump and grilled so had that lovely char, and the steak was on par with Hawksmoor or even Devonshire. My friend had the chicken and couscous and she loved it. They make a mean raspberry GnT and it’s great value for money. Highly recommended local spot.

My partner and I went to Palmers Restaurant for the first time on Sunday and we were really impressed! The restaurant was clean and tidy with a great atmosphere, the staff were really friendly and polite and the food was exquisite! We both went for a Sunday roast and by the end of it, decided that it was one of the best we had ever had (even better than Hawksmoor!). We will definitely be visiting again!

For a Sunday roast this place is great! The pork roast is excellent and highly recommend it. The atmosphere is very chill and quiet. The staff is very attentive as well. The price is a little bit higher than a normal roast but it's worth it in my opinion.

Best Sunday roast in London! We’ve been coming to Palmer’s for over 10 years now and it’s hands down the best restaurant in Bow, and dare I say, the best Sunday roast in London! This lovely little gem of a restaurant is family-run and chef-lead spot with large portioned quality food at reasonable prices. They have delicious natural wines to pair and an amber Czech beer on tap, which my partner says is delicious. We had maldon oysters to start, which we scoffed before I could take a photo of, roast chicken and roast beef for mains (I’ve had both and the beef is the better of the two), and a lovely molten chocolate pudding for dessert. My partner asked for extra roast potatoes (he’s “hungry” like that) and they happily obliged. My only wish is that they bring back their incredible bouillabaisse, which I’m obsessed with! Seriously the most delicious I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this friendly spot.

Overall was good, quiet, clean space and people are friendly. The price is not bad. The only thing İ would recommend to improve is saltiness of tuna sauce (a bit too salty) and asking the guest how they would like their red meat (ours was a bit on rare side rather than rare medium).

Good little find close to Mile End Park. Went on a Saturday night but it was quite quiet. Service was friendly and fast, and the food was delicious. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant too.

Delicious brill: one of those dishes that surpass expectations! My companions were raving about the roast, which I would have loved to have had there been a solid veggie/vegan option. Aside from that, were very accommodating with our dietary requirements.
