   Lovely Local Spot with Great Food and Coffee. La Mela Mediterranean Cuisine is a fantastic local cafe and restaurant in Hackney. The team is always welcoming and friendly, and the service is consistently excellent. Their coffee is always on point — smooth, fresh, and the perfect start to the day. I’ve had breakfast here a few times and it’s always been top quality. The menu is quite broad too, offering a variety of options for lunch and more, so there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee, a relaxed breakfast, or a sit-down meal, La Mela delivers every time. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

   Lovely little restaurant, they are open pretty much all day which is good to know. Laptop friendly. Good coffees & cold / fresh drink options. Food was lovely packed with flavour! Please take a look at the photo to see for yourself. Little noise sitting outdoors but also very airy. Staff are welcoming. Recommend

   Try this was so worth the 45 minute walk. Booked a table for 11:30. Welcome was great. I had the full English my sister had the brioche french toast. Both were excellent. We will be back.

   friendly service , great food and cozy atmosphere. Really great place for a couple to have brunch or just a coffee. The fusion of different flavors is absolutely what makes this place special.There is also a few tables outside for when the weather is sunny. Highly recommend to have a meal here.

   There's nothing to fault really, I would just say I felt it was quite expensive for 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 mulled wines (the wines are what did it) the wines shouldn't be that expensive. Also, my wife ordered the arancini balls for a starter, which were delicious, however it clearly states on the menu 4 and she was given 3. I also believe no matter where you go, table water should be given without question, it was not. I'm sure they'd of provided it if we had asked though. The service was friendly, checked how each meal was, offered drinks, given time to decide between starters and mains. Brilliant. There's seating at the front, indoors and a heated garden out the back. Toilets available. The menu I believe has changed a lot from what it shows on their website. I would go back but we'd probably order different drinks. The calamari was crisp, yet soft. The linguine carbonara (linguine freshly made) was a decent size and was enough to fill me up, I hadn't eaten In 10 hours and I'm a pretty big guy. So very happy with the quality of the food and there's plenty of healthy options to choose from.

   A great spot! I’ve gone back multiple times to try different dishes. The veg full English is delicious - so are the pancakes and bagels! A great deal on pizzas as well. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Quick service and affordable pricing. There’s also a nice covered patio at the back of the restaurant for outdoor seating.
