Another fabulous meal - the Wednesday banquet offer is very good and the restaurant was very busy. Food was great as usual, service is always friendly and there when you need them. Happily recommend

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Ginger that I feel compelled to share. On 01/02/2025 I placed an order through Deliveroo anticipating a pleasant meal of chicken tikka, pilau rice, and garlic naan. Unfortunately, what arrived was a vegetable curry, chicken rice, plain white rice, and plain naan bread—none of which matched my order. I immediately contacted the restaurant to address the mistake and was assured that the correct items would be sent promptly. After an exasperating two-hour wait, the same incorrect order was delivered again. I managed to catch the delivery driver before he left, who acknowledged the error and promised to rectify it within five minutes. However, after an additional 40-minute wait, there was still no sign of the correct order. When I called the restaurant again to inquire about the status, I was met with rudeness and dismissive remarks. The staff member insinuated that I was confused about my own order and curtly told me to cancel it through Deliveroo, advising me not to call or order again before abruptly hanging up. After waiting a total of four hours and with no resolution in sight, I reluctantly consumed the chicken rice, which was not what I had ordered. As someone who does not consume vegan food, the rest of the items were unsuitable for me. This experience was profoundly disappointing, marked by incorrect deliveries, extensive delays, and exceptionally poor customer service. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for Ginger to improve their service quality and customer relations.
Ginger is a great restaurant and so much better than its rating suggests. I took my family there on Friday evening, the place was packed but the staff were very attentive & the food Excellent. A great local gem in Hayes!!
Unfortunately we didn't have good service here. Food was good but service could be much better. We had a starter and main and would of liked coffe and a desert however as soon as we finished eating the bill was presented to us. Could be much better.
It was so lovely to see Ginger so busy on a Saturday. It’s has always been the most consistent curry house in hayes in terms of service and food. We have never had bad service here and food is tasty and fresh.

Went there with grandson tonight. Service was terrible. Offer for early evening dinner but was limited menu and price differed from what it said online. Wouldn’t go again. Didn’t feel warranted service charge
